sis, better bring him to his pedia so his stool may be examined for signs of bacterial infection o ano pa man, para na rin mas panatag ang loob mo then.. diarrhea leads to dehydration..

My baby just had this prob. He's 7 mos. I took him to his Pedia even if looks active and happy. Teething daw is part of it but not directly related. It's because the baby is at a stage when he likes to chew everything. And since we're not keeping eye on them every minute, there's a lot if chance for them to chew something dirty. With a sensitive digestive tract, they can easily get diarrhea.
I was prescribed pedialite. Like you, I kept giving him apples and bananas and cereals of those flavors. He's also breastfed and I was encouraged my BF advocates to continue BFding (which my baby prefers than pedialite). He got better agad. The fever didn't come back and the pupu normalized in 2 days.

pero ngayon 5 days na. i asked his pedia, sabi 2.5ml caro syrup + 2oz water... kaya lang bibili pa ko mamya eh. bka naman may iba pa kayo alam on how to help my baby (hindi naman sya umiiyak at hindi naman nababawasan ang milk intake niya)... thanks

nong ng constipate yong baby ko, karo syrup din, 1 ml added to her milk and dapat alternate, e.g ..milk with karo, next milk without karo, next milk with karo..until maka-poops ang baby...at let her drink lots of water...

how about DULCOLAX suppository for infant ha- kc may for adult din yan ( mas malaki)
Medyo uncomfortable lang for the baby pero sure naman mag poo-poo after an hour or so.

give your baby fresh fruit juices if 9mos. onwards na siya. fiber din yun e.

lots and lots of water sis. constipation is common to formula-fed babies.

Yona was constiptated when she was younger, kasi she's formula-fed na nga, she won't drink water pa. kawawa talaga pero now that she's older na, easy na sa kanya ang poop time.
