Hi!  I experienced the same when I stopped breastfeeding for 1 day.  Sobra ang hinina ng milk ko pero tyinaga ko yun for the next 1 week (as in I pump every hour).  In your case na 3 months, di na suggested that you re-lactate kasi iba na quality ng milk mo (imagine storing it for 3 months) and your baby might experience some inconveniences like constipation and the like.

Relactation is still possible even after 3 months.  Most important in re-establishing milk production is the frequent and regular stimulation and emptying of the breasts. This would mean a job for
either your baby when you're with her or your breast pump while at work. Offer your breast at every chance you see --- kahit comfort sucking lang, when she's going to sleep or has just awaken.  Kahit kasi wala siyang naiinom masyado, the sucking will send the signals for your breasts to make
the milk. Pump at least every 2-3 hours, even if you see no milk coming out. Even if your baby is done nursing, pump both breasts for 5-10 minutes to further drain your breasts. Of course your baby will still need supplemental feedings of formula until you have fully established your milk supply again.
But offer the bottle only after nursing and use a slow-flow nipple.  The tendency with fast flow nipples would be the easy preference for it over the breasts with very little milk coming out. Pag na-establish na milk supply mo, switch to exclusive breatfeeding na.

Galactagouges like malunggay capsules (Natalac or Prolacta) 3 caps 3x/day will be very helpful. Fenugreek too.  And follow the usual tips for nursing moms -- water, shell soups, oatmeal with soupy milk.

Is mixing fresh malunggay on my soup better than taking malunggay capsules? Which kind of malunggay can I use, the top ones (yung light green) or the big ones (the dark greens)?

sis ehrika, yes it's possible. my sis in law had milk until her two kids' 2nd year. super nakatipid sya. i remember nung wala ako milk, i ask for hers. hehe mag-ka-age kase 3rd son niya tsaka 1st kid ko. so ayun. hehe hirap lang coz she's from meycauayan, the transfer is difficult, baka masira diba.

mommyjazz, sabi nila it helps daw, malunggay leaves in soups.. pati daw halaan ba yun. dark ones ang ginagamit namin nun. tapos sabay sila dapat ng intake mo ng malunggay capsules. sakin nun nireseta is natalac.

Resuming Breastfeeding/breastmilk
« Reply #13 on: May 06, 2009, 09:49:07 am »

Hi mommies! ask ko lang...is there any way na maibalik ang breastmilk?  You might be familiar with what's going on sa amin ni baby Patrice...and with all the stress eh parang wala ng lumalabas na milk.  She refuses to take the breast na kasi wala na nga syang madede..hay..so sad...eh with her delicate condition, super maganda talaga kung breastfed pa din sya...im taking natalac and eating malunggay pero it seems na talagang ayaw na bumalik yung gatas ko...

un lang po...bow! thanks! =)

continuous take of liquid like water, milk then yung malunggay.. tpos hayaan mo lang mg latch yung baby mo hanggang sa may lumabas.. o kaya naman try not to think of her condition pa mag breastfeed ka.. kc ako nga as much as possible kahit inis ako,, i made sure na happy thoughts ang naiisip ko while breastfeeding...

i know its hard on ur situation but just be strong sis..
