Hi sis. We stayed at Hotel Royal at Queens street. Okay ang service dito and maganda ang amenities. May swimming pool din. Malamig din ang aircon. Our accomodation includes breakfast and I must say, satisfied naman kami. Buffet style siya. May mga malalapit din na hawker center diyan if in case you need something to eat. Konting lakad lang asa Bugis ka na. Here's their website: www.royalqueens.com.sg. My friend also recommends staying sa Fragrance Hotel.

Any updates on this? We'll be traveling in March of this year (2012) with my 6 yr old boy hubby and her sister. Recommendations/help/tips will be greatly appreciated.

hi sis... i agree with sis ilovemybaby... hotel royal is one of the cheapest i guess na hotel in the city.. i suggest talaga na you choose a place within the city na lang para hindi kayo mahirap to romearound.. in between sya ng city hall station and bugis station ng SMRT. also, you can buy your EZ card at smrt stations, so you could use it may it be in bus or smrt.. then load mo lang kung kulang.. also take note of the surcharge ng taxi dito, kasi bukod sa metro may addtl fee(surcharge) pag peak hours.. may 50%, 30% etc..  www.smrt.com.sg

Midnight - 5.59am
50% of metered fare

Monday - Friday* :   6.00am to 9.30am
25% of metered fare
Monday - Sunday & Public Holidays :    6.00pm to Midnight
25% of metered fare

hope it helps..

HarbourVille Hotel..

malapit lang sa sentosa.. ala pang 5 mins pag nag taxi kayo.. mura po dun, and puro pinoy mga employee nila.. kaya naman minsan may excess kaming kape, saka may extra kumot. saka inaalow nila kahit lima kami sa isang 1bedroom.. hehe.. katabi pa nun eh catholic church kaya nga yung PIL ko, tuwang tuwa noon.. kasi nga nakapagsimba sila.. hehe..

tama sis, most of the times nasa labas naman kayo,

Mga 8am to 8pm nasa galaan kami, so talagang tulugan lang sya.

Not unless ofcourse kung may budget kayo, sayang din kasi yung big difference, pang shopping din yun.  ;)

ang kunin nyo yung double na room, wag yung parang dormitory na marami kayo.

Wala akong kasamang baby, pero mukhang ok yung doubleroom for 2 adults and 1 baby.
