^ Thanks Mommy France. :)

May one last question pa po ako...

Kailangan po both kami kukuha ng parent's advice, or kahit ako na lang po?

if si lalake din po ay under 25 as far as i know kailangan din po ng parental advise

check nyo po ang website na ito

Hi mga sis!

Kailangan pa ba ng cedula of both parties? Kaso we plan to have our civil wedding sa QC City hall. I'm a QC resident and i already have my cedula. My hubby resides in Manila. Kailangan pa ba ng cedula niya? and san yun kukunin? sa Manila din?

Thanks thanks!

^Sis I believe yong administer ng civil rites matrimony namin ni hubby way back 1998 ang tawag 'reverend' din and ngayon as I am typing this I remember namigay siya ng calling card and it was stated there he belongs to the same religious sect like you mentioned. What mattered to us was a month after nung binalikan ni hubby yong papers registered na sa Civil Registry ang kasal namin. We also got a copy of this from NSO, legally married na nga kami.

Just so to appease your friends worry, she can secure a copy from NSO to check the validity of the civil ritewedding that took place.

From my file:

Documents that you need for the MARRIAGE LICENSE:
1.  CENOMAR;
2.  Birth Certificate/Baptismal Certificate;
3.  Family Planning Seminar;
4.  Marriage Counselling Seminar;
5. (1) 2x2 picture each.
6.  Cedula (of the year when you will apply for a marriage license.

The seminars (family/marriage) is case to case basis. Ask your local civil registrar for the schedule. Sometimes, it could be once lang, magkasama ka na. Sometimes it's every weekend.

Marriage License is asked, before you marry. You cannot marry without one.

Sisses, may question ako ulit, regarding sa parents' advice. Yung mom and dad ko po kasi, matagal nang hiwalay, as in annulled na yung kasal nila and all. I know where to find him sa province, pero napakalayo and I don't trust him to send the papers back via LBC or Air21. Pati warla pa kaming dalawa. Can't I just tell the city hall people na my mom would sign na lang, and tell them that I don't know where he is? :(

Meron pa pala mga sisses, I'm getting really confused na..

Is there anyone here who got a marriage license in QC recently? Sa ibang sites kasi, sabi we need a CENOMAR each daw. Sa iba, wala daw. So I really don't know. Waaaah. nahilo-hilo na akeeer.  :( hehe. :)

hi!!!mga mommies...!
pls...help naman..me and my partner planning to have a civil wed in marikina. We have the lists of requirements and procedures. Pero kc gusto ko sana sa resto na lang un ceremony (Cocina) in Sentrong Pangkultura. Actually immediate family members lang mga 10-15 persons lang. 180/pax eat all u can,,,not bad di ba? and masarap un food kc baptsimal ng baby namen last year doon den, maganda un place.

Baka may kakilala kayo ng pastor..?or any other who can perform a ceremony aside from judge (at low cost) kc ayaw ko sana don sa trial court..( i've heard pag invite ko ang judge outside expensive daw) ma short kame sa budget...gusto ko sana pastor (magkano kaya un..) if know naman pls. share naman po.

Thanks!!!! :)
GOD BLESS!!!

@kuliglig: you EACH need a CENOMAR. yung municipality/city that doesn't require one, is of doubtful content. that is for your protection ---- at least before you marry, you would know if your hubby has been married before, or if his marriage, belatedly annulled, has not yet been registered as annulled. mura lang naman ang cenomar and mabilis lang din naman kuhanin. you can order it online, one week lang siguro andyan na.

@maffy:  sis, if you are having a pastor/reverend to administer the rights, make sure na dun sa marriage license application and in your marriage license, you indicated there, that ONE OF YOU, is a christian ---- kasi in order to use a pastor/reverend, at least one of you,  must belong to that religious sect (by law ito yung provision), so if you both declared "catholic", dapat talaga, pari ang magkakasal sa inyo.

Hi sisses! :) Update ko lang po... Sa QC Hall, they did not ask for CENOMAR.. it's not included in the list of requirements...

http://www.quezoncity.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=261%3Acivilregguide&catid=79&Itemid=305

We just finished applying for the license, so attendan na lang ng seminars before we get the license next Friday..  ;)

Thank you for patiently answering all my questions mommies...  :D
