Food for Simple First Birthday Party?
« Reply #32 on: July 18, 2012, 04:13:17 am »

Dear Parents,

My baby girl will be turning 1 this coming friday July 20, 2012. However, we will not be able to have a party on this day because her big brother is ill.

We will be having a late birthday celebration on July 28, 2012.

Any idea what foods are we going to offer to our visitors (most likely adults) -budget wise without losing all the fun.
Thank you.

Regards,
Mommy Michelle

Hi sis, If more on adults ang guest mo I suggest yung medyo mabigat sa tummy like rice and viands.
Sa kids naman kahit simpleng spaghetti and hotdog on stick lang happy na sila :)

hi sis redfox_0314, advance happy birthday to your baby girl :)
i suggest spaghetti and fried chix for the kids..tapos give them lootbags for giveaways..para okay lang na wala ng party games. tapos sa adults prepare 3 viands and rice..okay na yun. and don't forget pala ang cake para kay baby girl.. kami nga noon regular cake from goldilocks okay na okay na...:) hope maging okay na si big brother niya. :)

Prepare a non-messy pack snack for kids.

Ang mga bata hindi gaanong kumakain kaya maraming nasasayang na pagkain kaya hiwalay dapat yun pang bata.

Menu: (in small portion)
Mini burger
Mac and Cheese
Hotdog with Marshmallow on stick
Cupcake or Ice Cream for dessert
Juice like Zesto not softdrink

Have a pica pica table for kids like Stick-O, marshmallows, Oreo cookies, etc.

hi mga sis my daughter's bday will be on Sept. 14 na may nag quote na sa akin ng kids package para kasi naka pack na lessen na sa part ko pag decorate sa mga food packs eto ang package niya
Food for 40 Kids Php 4,000
- All time fave kiddie spaghetti
-Chicken Nuggets
-Mini burgers
- Juice
sa tingin nyo hindi na ba masama iyong 4,000 o mahal sya
ang prepare ko na lang sa bahay for adult food around 60 pax siguro i'm planning merienda time naman kasi eto sana serve ko
2 pasta choice (red and white sauce)
Fried Chicken
Hotdog/Sausage Roll 100 pcs ( may nao-ordereran kasi dito sa amin 15 pesos each)
Juice/Softdrinks
what else pa ba pwede ko idagdag para hindi naman mukhang bitin food kahit walang mga rice and viands and ilang kilos kaya good for 60 pax..
may choco fountain naman ako and Cotton Candy kaya ok na ba iyon for dessert or need ko pang dagdagan at least salad. I'll appreciate your response mga sis. Thanks in Advance! :)

I think it depends on your guest's consumption or preferred food. Some likes carbonara some spaghetti. So kung 50 adults and 30 kids, spag (2kgs) will be ok for kids. Sa min kasi sa house since malakas kami sa spaghetti, 1 kilo lang good for 8 adults and 3 kids. I think kung imamanage nio naman yung food fo the kids ok na yan.. Then may pansit naman so for sure macover na yan in case you ran out of spag or carbonara. Lumpiang shanghai I think make it 3 kilos to be sure..
