mommy jazz.... copy paste ko na lang din po yung sagot ko sa facebook
i prefer to give my daughter toys that are made up of wood... according to maria montessori( the educator whose method is applied to schools), we should avoid giving our kids toys that are made up of plastic which maybe treated with toxic chemicals that are harmful to our kids and environment,.. we should insist on giving them toys that are made up of natural materials that encourages creativity and imaginative play.to touch and explore is one of the most important aspects that help a child to develop different capabilities.

Lillard and Jessen (2003, ‘Montessori from the start’) said “your only purpose is to give a key to your child for discovering his world“.

Toys and materials can act as that key, they aid the child’s understanding of the real world and help them distinguish order and make sense of their environment. This is a true gift to the child.

Wooden toys in particular are aesthetically beautiful, last long and give children a different more natural texture than most plastic toys would.

for wooden blocks, shape sorter, wooden puzzles, i prefer the brand melissa and doug but those are pricey, for cheaper substitute, there are available online at sulit.com and in anding's in divisoria..

Kaya pala. Thanks for this. I think it's also the weight and volume of each piece na nakakatulong sa learning nila. Unlike plastic na hollow.

The girls loved the toys Mia brought to the shoot, including a Melissa & Doug magnetic dress-up playset
