My Son is 1 year and 6 months now.  I exclusively BF him for 2 months  before I went back to work.  From then on, mixed feeding na siya.  Working Mom ako kaya during the day formula and at night BF.  Before nakaka-collect ako ng BM 3-4 oz per expression pero ngayon parang humina na....for a day nakaka-express ako ng 4 oz. a day......so sad :( I am planning to BF my son until he wanted to.  Please help me how can I increase my supply.  I am taking natalac for supplement.

Pag matagal ka na ba mag-BF, humihina tlaga ang supply?

hi mommy elainedr. my son is 1 year and 1month now and still breastfeeding. ask ko lang mommy if you pump at work and if yes how often.

im taking pro-lacta din for supplements plus the mommy treats that i order from mommy paola. im also a working mom pero i work in the gy shift. baka need mo lang mag pump more. nagpupump kasi ako sa work at least two times a day eh. pag maluwag, 3 times.

^mommy treats pala yung name. my bad... di pala yummy treats. you can order from her multiply site:

http://www.mommytreats.ph/

yummy naman yung treats. may bitter after taste nga lang on some, but that is due to the herbs. below are my faves:

choco chip cookies
white choco chip cookies
banana oat muffins
brownies

@mommy purple_girl -- kahit bitter sya eventually masasanay ka din eh. i super love the brownies and the choco chip muffins.  pero sobrang iba yung consistency ng milk ko if i eat the treats. creamier sya.

^true, kapag nasanay ka na di mo na din mamamalayan. yummy yung brownies! yun ang fave ko among the treats.

i don't know, but parang wala ng effect sa milk supply ko yung treats. i'm actually attributing this to the fact na di na rin super lakas mag nurse ni baby. however, tama ka with the creamier consistency. i still buy the treats kasi yummy yung treats and creamier pa yung consistency ng milk ko.

@mommy purple_girl -- ilang taon na anak mo? mine is 15 months.  napapansin ko lang na may epekto sya sa milk supply ko when nagkakasabay yung mga business reviews namin. im still bringing home the same amount of milk regardless of my stress level.

@Kimps_08

she's turning 24 months na next week and we're still exclusively bf. looks like she's starting to wean na but not completely. she bfs pa rin during the day and pag nap time but not as frequent as before. at night naman, she consumes less than 10 ozs of milk sa magdamag pag nasa work ako. i'm not really worried naman kasi malakas na siya sa solids, medyo sad nga lang kasi i feel na she's starting to wean na. feeling ko di pa ko ready. :(

for breastfeeding moms, which breast pump would you prefer, the manual (just like a nasal cleaner with pump) or yung katulad ng Avent, First years, or pigeon may handle and naattach sa bote? ..thanks for the info... may you also post which brand is trusted and very convenient, comfortable and easy to use, clean, and maintain.

My daughter's 17months now, pero I BF parin. Yun nga lang, nagsstudy pa kasi ako, so kapag wala ako, nagfoformula siya. Pero kapag kasama niya ako, ayaw niya ng formula, automatic na sakin lang yung gatas na kilala niya. Haha. :)

Mix feeding talaga is the best option if you are working yet you want to breastfeed.

Unfortunately for me, when I started working, even if I pumped, nawalan talaga ako ng milk.

Grabe ako yata ang pinaka matagal. Mag 3 years old na ang daughter ko sa April but still nag dede pa din sya sa akin. Mix feeding sya from 6 months until now problema ko paano ko sya maaawat :( pampatulog niya kase yun sasabihin niya sa akin na "mommy didika" so ayun pa dede ko naman sya then after ilan mins lang tulog na sya ganun lang sya parati. Paano po ba sya ma pa stop? Please give me suggestions. Thanks!
