although it's necessary to sterilize, in my experience, i didnt use a bottle sterilizer. we used our rice cooker in steaming the bottles. works just as well as a bottle sterilizer.  :D

Hallo mommy sweetpea_1104,

I am using Chicco bottle sterilizer and if i remember correctly it cost less than Php 2000, and yes it is a must to have a sterilizer for your baby's safety and the sterilizer that I am using automatically shuts off when the sterilization of the bottle is finished that way there is no danger of the bottle melting among other things.

Happy Smart Parenting and God bless!

Sterilizer is really needed for the first 12 months of baby's Life.. Try Chicco.. 1995 lang siya.. super tibay.. kasi I had one before for my first born.. till now buhay pa,, after 5 yrs ha. but I'm gonna buy a new one since hubby does not want to use an old sterlizer for the new baby... ;D

My hubby bought Sesame Street Sterilizer, 6 bottles, at Trinoma.

not a necessity lalo na ngayon madaming needs ang mga babies,...Especially for me who's always on a budget...
I didn't buy a sterilizer,After washing all the feeding bottles,I boil them sa malaking kaserola...Then tapos!
As a mom you can make sure naman na malinis ang things ni baby eh,hindi porke't mahal ang mga gamit eh malinis at safe na...Still mom knows best!

Electric bottle sterilizer is a luxury, not a necessity. Microwaveables are greater luxuries. Ang importante naman is masterilize ang bottles. Stove-type sterilizers are for those who have good memory :) para hindi masunugan ng bottles.
Tip: buy a timer

Feeling ko it's not really a matter of necessity, more of convenience na lang siguro... :o

but that's just my opinion..

It is necessary to sterilize the bottles of our little one and for me an Electric Sterilizer is a necessity at home. It depends in every mom how to sterilize the bottles since there are alternative ways to do it.

For electric sterilizer kase, you can multitask without worrying about the bottles so mas maging productive ang time kahit pa meron man tayo yaya sa household natin. It doesnt mean that it has to be expensive as long as it will serve its primary purpose.
