Don't look at the price, look at the nutrient content, it does not necessarily follow that if the milk is expensive it is more complete, kasi sometimes its due to the brand name kaya mahal...

The best criteria for you to consider whether the milk is better, is to read and compare the label with the indicated nutrient content of each milk...

God bless and Happy Parenting!

mommies always look at the nutrient levels of the milk as well un reconsitution nila. here are the carbohydrates level of different milk for 1-3 yrs old (from mims.com):

NIDO Jr - 53 g
Lactum 1-3 - 64 g
Enfagrow A+ - 64.4
Gain Plus Adv - 49.8 g
Progress Gold - 59. 4 g
Grow Adv eye q - 58.33 g
Anchor 1+ - 60.5 g

The higher the carbohydrates level, the higher the sugar content. This is true. GPA has the lowest carbo kaya naman hinde nga ito matamis (natikman ko na kasi, hehe). Enfagrow A+ has the highest carbo kaya naman matamis at marami din mommies dito sa forum na nagsasabing matamis nga ito.

the truth is depende pa din yan sa magiging hiyang ng baby mo. ano ba milk niya ngaun? my son went from s-26 gold to Gain advance plus to Gain plus advance. naging hiyang niya naman kaya we tuloy tuloy lang. Nutrient wise kahit mahal Gain sulit talaga sya. pwede mu ito try, bile ka lang nun 180g ata then pag oki sa kanya tuloy tuloy mu na. if you have pedia, better pa din to ask them. may mga nababasa kasi ako dito na nacconstipate ang baby nila sa Gain kaya humahanap sila ibang milk. well, talagang may tendency na magconstipate kasi nga ang Gain has the lowest sugar level. un sa baby ko naman hinde naman niya naexperience na maconstipate kasi nagtatake din sya marami water.

basta always observe un mga magigng eeffect kay baby, talagang in depends on them pa din. un iba kahit bonna oki naman ang baby. Gain so far kasi is the best for me medyo nagmahal na nga lang naman sya. if it will be okay with you baby naku much better kasi u can be assure that u are give the best nutrition to your baby but ofcourse mas maganda pa din ang breastmilk. hehe. biglang bawi hanu. in case lang naman hinde mu na kaya magbreastfeed.

Good luck syo mommy. Hope you find what is really fit for your baby!

my son is 17 months na. he is already eating 3 full meals na nga at nagmmerienda pa talaga in between. malakas pa din sa milk e, 3-5 bottles of 6 oz a day. hehe.. malakas din sa tubig. ang gawin mo pala is try to add little sugar sa water ni baby para inumin niya. tapos pwede mo na sya turuang uminom sa glass. un anak ko natuto na uminom sa glass ng 7 months niya. plastic na baso muna o sippy cup pagamit mo baka sakali mas maappreciate nyang uminom ng tubig.

Hi mommy. that's an advice from our pedia nun hinde pa marunong uminom ng tubig ang baby ko. tama minimal lang talaga, then pag oki na pwede mu na syang wag lagyan. un iba kasing nagstart sa gatas na mataas na ang sugar nahihirapan magpainom ng tubig.  :)

Oh okay, my baby's milk kasi is Similac, before Enfalac sya pero di niya nakasundo nagkakabag sya and constipated...
At first ayaw din niya ng water pero ngayon sya na mismo nahingi ng water, he can consume 3-5oz of water a day...

Happy parenting mga mommies and God bless to us and our babies and of course our hubbies as well!

I gave my eldest s26 when he was a baby until nag-promil kami then lumabas ang Bonakid so we shifted to it because halos the same ang taste nila - sweet and my eldest doesn't like other milk, wala raw lasa.

With my 2 other younger kids, Bonna sila from the start and my 2nd child is super taba. As in hebigatin talaga - I didn't know mataas ang sugar content ng Bonna until I saw some posts here. I think I have to have his blood sugar checked because he is really mataba. 5 kilos lang ang difference ng bigat niya sa kuya niya. His kuya is 7 and he is only 3 years old.

My youngest naman, normal lang pero malusog din.
