maraming milk na ang lumalabas ngayon. ang iba kapag nakita na mataba ang baby, ai ok for them. thats not true. there are some babies na mataba pero hndi healthy.

totoo to. thats why i opt n magstay muna sa isang gatas kesa papalit palit. nkakasama ng tyan ng bata.

naging hobby ko na magcheck ng nurtitional content ng milk sa grocery. so far, my daughter gained weight even if she switched from nido to grow. nagsawa na kasi sa nido jr. i compared the nutrients of gain plus and grow at konti lang difference. my daughter is 2 years and 5 months. we might try grow 3+ next year or gain school advance. important kasi hiyang ang bata at di nagkakasakit.

nagstart sa Enfalac si Cass,paglabas palang ng nursery, yun nirecommend ng pedia niya na milk.. di masyadong nakadede saken si baby ko since pinanganak ko,kahit nung nasa hospital palang kami,iniiyakan niya dede ko. .. weeks from now,she'll be turning 6 months na,and we're planning to continue her Enfa series, though mahal talaga, pero I'm sure yun din irerecommend ulet ng pedia na ipalit,from Enfalac to Enfapro.. kahit regular lang siguro pero much better din talaga yung may A+ .. iniisip ko nga din minsan na i'switch to much cheaper milk,pero ayoko naman magbakasali.. nakamura ka nga,di naman enough nakukuha ni baby,useless din.. ang pera kinikita naman eh..

IMO as a pharmacist, wala po difference ang mahal na gatas at murang gatas... Parepareho lang po na cow's milk yan, it is actually a trade secrets from milk manufacturers na may mga formula kuno na pampatalino etc etc pero they are all the same, they just needed to market their product very well... Lahat po ng gatas nutritious yan sa baby, hindi naman sa mura o mahal nakikita yan o nararamdaman yung pagbigat o pagtaba ng baby... Check nyo un labels, almost the same, varies lang on some formulations but if you will check it carefully may variations man it still compensates with the nutritional value na approved ng bfad.. So wag na po magworry, mahal o murang gatas pareho lang po.....

I used to supervise and ka's milk formulas in different milk companies and i assure you all na parepareho lang po

So parang bang generic and branded medicine ito? :-)

The 'generic' or less expensive milk satisfies the minimum requirement of BFAD.
The 'branded' or more expensive milk gives much more than the requirement.

Just like other mothers here, I check the label. The more nutrients they supposedly contain, the higher the price.

Syempre exemption dito yung specialized milk formulas for very sensitive babies and premature babies.

I was just thinking, if I buy the less expensive ones then add nutrients to my child's diet through vitamin supplements, would that be enough already? Yung tipong ipapantay ko don sa nutrients ng expensive milk yung difference niya don sa kukunin kong less expensive milk? Tama po ba yon, mommies?

^Honestly, trade secret po ng milk company's yung pagformulate ng milk with dha , ara, etc etc but the fact is lahat ng milk meron nyan, its just how they market their product, when i do quality controls of milk, all of them are the same lang talaga, mas kilalang brand mas mahal esp kapag controlled nila ang market at maganda advertisement kasi jan nacocompensate yung ginagastos nila sa production, yung hindi kilalang milk, mas mura kase they only market thru their respective medreps... Also, all of them are cow's milk, enhancementlang ginagawa ng manufacturers.... Binibigyan din natin ng vitamins mgababy natin so it compensates with all the nutrients na kailangan ng bata... Hindi naman natin kailangan maging super metikuloso pagdating sa baby kasi the more na tayo ang sensitive mas magiging lalong sensitive ang bata paglaki at tayo mamomorblema ... Opinion ko lang hehe

mga mommies hindi naman importante kung expensive or the cheap one ang milk ni baby, most important is gustong gusto ni baby yong milk then don siya nahihiyang..nakay baby pa rin ang choice kung alin ang hiyang sa kanya...

importante ba talaga na with DHA ang milk ni baby?ano ano bang brand ng milk ang with DHA sa 1 year old to 3.?

hi christ24..oo sis importante daw na may DHA para sa brain development ng bata...i feel confused then kung anong milk ang ipapalit ko sa baby ko 13mos. old..hindi ko kasi alam kung alin mga milk ang may DHA na swak lang sa budget ang price.

kindly help us mga mommies kung meron man kayong alam pag dating sa mga milk.

aside from nido sis alin pa ba ang may DHA? ang alam ko lang kasi yong progress gold..hindi pa naman nagustuhan ng anak ko yong nido jr. gusto ko pa naman sa kanya kc swak lang sa budget..progress gold kasi masyadong mahal...

^my baby tried gain plus advance, nido junior and grow 1-3. for now, stick kami sa grow tapos cherifer ang vitamins. ayaw niya sa lactum eh. so far, she gained weight based on her checkup last week.

hi mommy alexismom...im planning to switch on Gain plus advanve pero pinag iisipan ko pa kasi wala pa ako masyado feedback sa Gain.. ok ba ang lasa ng grow sis?same price lang ba ang gain and grow?ilan taon na ba ang baby mo?cherifer drops pa rin ba ang gamit ng baby mo or yong syrup na?

Okay naman ang grow 1-3 , its formulation is the same with gain pero abbott made this para mas abot kaya ng budget ng mommies, i used to market gain and grow before, mas mahal lang ang gain due to marketing strategy but the formulation for both milk is the same po my daughter tried grow for sometime and she liked it too before i switched on to new formula

Rosesef- sis, mas expensive ang gain plus advance. I like Abbott milk kasi my baby started with Similac. Okay naman ang Grow. My baby likes the taste plus within budget.

alexismom...ang baby ko kasi laking wyeth sya kaya siguro di niya nagustuhan yong nido jr..natikman niya ang gain twice pa lang di ko na tinuloy tuloy kasi nahiyang sya sa wyeth..pero ngayon nagsasawa na sya lagi niya na lang pinaglalaruan?ok ba naman sis ang grow sa baby mo?malaki ba yong improvement?
