Hi mga sis,

My bunso will have her 1st bday and baptism celebration on Nov. 6, 2011. Our theme is Tinkerbell for the obvious reason that I love Tinkerbell! The only thing is as much as I love Tinkerbell, I would also want it to be somewhat sacred because we are also welcoming our daughter to the Christian world...

Sa program I am thinking of letting her ninongs and ninangs say their wishes silently and all together they will release butterflies....yan palang ang naiisip ko...

How can I incorporate baptism part sa Tinkerbell Theme when it comes to:

1. Invitations
2. Giveaways
3. Thank you card
4. Tarpaulin Backdrop

I really don't have talent / creativity when it comes to this...

I know a lot of SP mommies here have creative juices flowing in your system...

Any help / ideas / suggestions are highly appreciated!

hmmm.. tinkerbell tayo pareho but since baptism kasama sayo dapat medyo pa-formal effect...

how about habang nagwiwish ang godparents may sprinkle of pixie dust kay baby, sa body lang ha.. hindi sa face..  may nabibili na edible gold dust... nakagamit na ako nung college for baking class

tapos sa invitation wordings mo dapat very fantasy like yung pagkakawordings niya..

i think pag sa first part i mean yun sa church yun long white dress yun suot ni baby ,. para ang dating eh pnag fairy at the same time eh formal sya then pagdating sa reception you can change outfit na po na green if you want

1. Invitations -- i agree with sis rhianne na may touch of fantasy ang wordings , pwede din po parang shining shimmering ang invites ,. yun parang pang-wedding yun gagamiting card ,. pwede din po na may maliit na icon ni tinkerbell sa isang gilid then parang nagpo-pour sya ng gold dust tas insert ng wordings ganun

2. Giveaways
 -- ano ba naisip mong giveaways sis ? i remember mareng wendystar's giveaways nung christening nun baby niya , coaster yun tawag dun pinagawa niya sa divi if im not mistaken then nilagay sa pouch , ganito yun pouc niya i dont know how it is called

yan giveaways ni mareng wendy aside from the coaster ,.  i think in line pa rin sa theme na tinkerbelle since butterflies close to nature and tinkerbell hehe kasi may wings 

3. Thank you card -- you can just add a small icon po ulit ni tinkerbell, then wordings  then sa kabilang side eh pic ni baby

4. Tarpaulin Backdrop --- pwedeng green ang background with lots of flowers then add some fairies if you want or tinkerbell lang or baby wearing tinkerbell costume

Sa church po talagang nakawhite siya then magpalit na lang ng fairy costume bago kami pumunta sa reception...

Sa giveways  for ninongs ang ninangs I'm planning to order yung mini cakes para sa kanila (sana may budget pa)

Sa giveways for adults balak ko po bumili ng mga wooden clippers sa divisoria yun maliliit na paso na may mga designs then may sipit eto to clip pics or calling cards. (sana may budget pa rin)

May mga inipon na ring akong mga pocket prayer books at pocket thanksgiving prayer for my friends from Daughter's of St. Paul Bookstore and St. Paul's Publishing House na ilalagay ko naman po sa pouch na white na may gold na tali na katulad ng pinost ni Sis Caramel. Balak ko doon ko eto iipit sa mga wooden clippers.

san nakakabili ng edible na gold dust? may lasa ba siya sis? any idea if how much? parang magandang idea to give sa mga kids di ba? nakalagay sa isang maliit na plastic pouch, tapos may instruction na parang taste or lick some, think happy thoughs and you will surely have fun!

sis yan yung gusto ko yung flyingicon ni Tinkerbell (pwedeng silhoutte yung dating) swaying her wand tapos yung mga pixie dust floating around tapos nagform ng 1...hindi ko lang talaga alam paano i-execute eh.

Yun ang malaking challenge sa akin yung wordings para sa invitation ni bunso....wala talaga akong maisip...

Sa Tinkerbell or kahit sa Peterpan movie may ganitong wordings na WHEN A BABY LAUGH/S FOR THE FIRST TIME A FAIRY IS BORN...pwede ko kaya i-incorporate eto sa invitation?

May ginawa na para sa akin si sis Mworxs na save the date card and I fell in love with agad....simple at maganda

Gusto ko sana ilagay doon sa invitation yung exact weight, height and time na pinanganak ko si bunso parang baptism invitation rin talaga tapos, sa games ipapaincorporate ko yung mga info na yun parang bring me...pero in form of questions like Cassandra Chloe was born at what exact time? tapos unahan sa pagsagot...

Ano sa palagay ninyo mga sis?

sa killion kami bumili sis.. sa quiapo.. tago yung lugar eh pero sikat yun sa mga bakers talaga..  pero around quiapo na mga baking supplies shops meron.. wala siyang lasa.. pang decor lang kasi talaga yun eh.. ang may lasa yung edible gold beads...

Hello mommies out there i need a little advice on some things,
First, on my daughter's 7th birthday
the theme would be tinkerbell
 i already got a venue in marikina heights since i'm from montaban para malapit sa amin at the same time sa relatives at office mates naman ng husband ko The resorts name is ( JB's Resort ) i also got catering services para less hassle na,lalagyan ko ng program yung celebration ng panganay ko, (7 dance, 7 gifts, 7 flowers, ) now my problem are as follows:

- INVITATION ( i can make it on my own since nung wedding naman ako lang ang gumwa ng mga invi, i just bought the paper at quiapo printing, I JUST NEED THE WORDINGS )
- COSTUMES including SHOES
- GIVE AWAYS ( ayoko ng candies, gusto ko yung something na mgmit ng kids, or pang display/ food )
- GIVE AWAYS for ninong and ninangs
- 7 pcs. FLOWERS with different colors

now san ko sa divisoria kaya mkikita ang mga 'to and mgkano ang dapat kong i budget??

SECONDLY,
on my bunso's baptismal,

- honey bee costume naman ang isusuot niya sa reception sa chucrch of course its a white dress,everything in white, bsta formal, where can i buy this honey bee costume in divisoria?

- INVITATION ( wordings )
- give aways..( same as above )

By the way the event with both be held on October 30, 2011.
i hope you would give me a liitle of your time to help me out on my concern.

I'm due to give birth in May and as early as now, naisip na namin na isabay na lang yung baptism ni bunso sa 3rd birthday ng Ate Sophie niya sa September, since same people din naman ang mga bisita. Sa mga mommies na nakagawa na ng ganito, paano niyo pinagsabay? Paano yung flow ng program nun? Di ba baptismal sa morning tapos lunch time, how do you make the guests stay para until birthday party na ng hapon?

Sis, baby boy ba bunso niyo?  Naexperience ko last year yung sabay na baptism and first birthday ng daughter namin. The church is near the party venue. The godparents went to the church at 10 then party na agad at 11am. Yung ibang guests diretso na sa venue. Advice ko lang if may DIY, have lots of people to help you. Nastress kami dahil sa DIY stuff at wala naman kaming katulong. Dahil sa time ng baptism here in Cavite, naging lunch til noon ang party. Yung program namin solely dedicated na to the birthday. Puwede niyo gawin sa program na acknowledge muna yung new baby then proceed na to the entertainment and games. Normally naman kainan lang sa baptism after maglead ng prayer and such.

sa mga naatenan ko din almost same as alexismom.. church malapit sa party venue. right after ng baptism go straight sa venue for the party.. pero usualy eating time muna bago mag start ang party. yes if DIY ka make sure organize sila.. while u were at church dapat early na un brigada DIY mo pra sakto lang pagtpos ng baptism.. usually kasi ang baptism pag special ceremony ka.. wala pang 1 hr kasama na picture taking.. unless late si father

sa mga dedication n 1st birthday naman.. dun sa venue na yung dedication nila.. mga 30-45 minutes yun ceremony then yun iba ating time na, yun iba naman nagpa start na ng kiddie party.. depende pa rin sa inyo kung ano un flow na gusto mo
