my family went to boracay last december, my daughter was only 14 months old then.

i was also worried about the ear pressure pero her pedia assured me she's old enough to handle it and kids her age won't have problems with it. so all in all, ok naman.

now i'm undecided if isasama ko si baby sa singapore sa december, she'd be 2yo and 2 mos old then. initially plan ko ako lang and my cousins pero naawa ako iwan ng matagal. we've never been apart for more than 1 night since birth.  :'( baka ma-miss ko ng sobra.  ;D

^hi everyone :)

hi hanne :) if yan pinaka concern, isama mo na siya :) mag e-enjoy na rin siguro siya sa sightseeing at her age :) mas manageable na rin siguro sa biyahe (sana :D) very child friendly dito sa singapore, so going around will not be a problem for sure with a little one, at least quality time pa ;)

agree! hehe unang beses na plane ride ng baby namin, 3 months siya on that 3.5-hour flight! kaloka, half ng flight iyak ng iyak :( half ng flight tulog na tulog sa pagod sa kaka-iyak. pero siguro with your little one, mas manageable na ;)

we had a Boracay trip when our son was 3 months old. At take off and landing, i nurse him. the sucking and swallowing helps avoid ear discomfort from air pressure changes.

we had a lot of travels after that, and it was easier when he was younger. all he does is sleep and feed :)

Makes trips with your little ones more fun, because not only can your child store their things in them, but they can also ride on them!

We travelled last year by plane and megan is only 19 months then, parang dedma sa kanya ang 1 hr ride namin. As for her things, hand carries yun importante and yung clothes ang naka checked - in.. I just dont know sa january if may effect na sa kanya ang by air travel pero ill have her ready para di kami mahirapan. :)

Hi mommies!

Will be travelling this Christmas to Taiwan with my 1 year old son. We're excited! Sana maging smooth ang flight namin.

Question lang: diba there's a restriction when it comes to liquid? Sa airport security, 100ml lang? Eh per bottle ng baby ko more than 100mL ang nilalagay namin since yun ang iniinom ni baby. Ok lang ba yun? Or would you advice na dun sa airport na kami mag buy ng water? Dun sa waiting area.

One more, ok lang ba ang powdered milk for handcarried luggage? Kasi  magdadala kami ng box ng milk para no need na to buy sa taiwan. Should we check that in or pwede naman sa handcarried luggage?

Thank you mommies. Your replies are appreciated. :)

I flew in my 17 days old (minimum requirement to sa cebupacific) son from Iloilo to Manila January of 2013. I had 2 baby bags, 3 extremely heavy luggage and a baby.

I was expecting for special assistance from Zest Air crew but it was to no avail. That time kasi, medyo malayo pa ni-lang ng plane so we had to descend the airport and walk going to the plane. Akala ko tutulungan ako ng mga crew sa mga bitbit ko kasi very limited lang yung baggage allowance ko pero wala akong nakuha sa kanila. Kami lang ng anak ko nag byahe that time. Just image how hard it was.

I fed my baby when we were about to land and take off para mabawasan ang air pressure. Sabi ko pa nga sa anak ko, "nak, pikit na kasi land na tayo". He obliged. hahaha!

Thanks for sharing! We will be on a plane ride this year to visit family members abroad and I'm already a bit worried how the baby will handle it.
