hello mga yummy mummies! does anyone already had an experience on flying with their babies? my daughter is 5 months old. We're flying in two weeks and I'm scared as hell na baka mag iiyak yung baby ko sa flight eh 11 hours pa naman yun. I need help and tips badly!!!!! PLEASE MOMMIES!!!!!

hi momi! baby ko and i, una nyang travel when she was a month old, from NY to SFO, thats 5 hours flight, nktingin lang sya s window kasi cgro gusto niya yung sinag ng sun s clouds :) tpos bawal liquids kaya wala kami dala water, pero my nbbili kc s states yung prepared milk na, liquid form, tpos ready to drink, nllgyan lang ng chupon.. kaya un.. after that, flight namin from sfo to mla, thats 11-12 hours ata, ayun ok naman sya, she was 1 month and a week i think... bbgyn ka ng bassinet ng flight attendant, kaso box type sya, pnget,hehe.. pero i suggest dala k ng comforter n baby para lagay mo s bassinet, and if ms gusto mo safe c baby, pwd mo naman sya kargahin throughtout the flight, pero meron lang instructions n dpt iblik s bassinet like take off or landing.. if 5 months n c baby mo, meron dn sila pnprovide n "carseat" :)

i hope this helps! also, ipacify mo sya when taking off and lading to prevent build up ng pressure s ears :D

if you need more help or info, pm me at ym: xiaoestacio

good luck mommy!!

My baby had her 1st flight when she was 21 days old.... although its was just an hour and a half flight... no fuss kasi she slept the entire flight,,, she just took her milk pag take off then pacifier the entire flight...

2nd flight naman when she was 4 months old... same journey... no fuss din... milk and pcifier lang sa plane...  :)

if i remember it correctly pwede naman ng liquid as long as it's for your baby (sa domestic flight it to ha) kc when we traveled my son was 6 or 7 months pa lang hand carry ko lahat ng needs niya pero yung water I just bought yung enough lang for the flight.

siguro mommy depende sa airline kasi kami last january lang with continental airlines they allowed naman yung bottles ng baby ko with water. siguro check mo nalng sa website nung airline if they allow that. baby ko pala pinabigyan ng pedia ko ng 1 dose of benadryl para sleep lang sya all through out the flight. ask your pedia rin if puwede na bigyan ng benadryl baby mo.

hello mga mommies!!! salamat sa pag share ng experience. my pedia advised me to give my baby benadryl kasi it also helps daw to relieves the ear pressure. pero kabado pa rin ako sa flight. waaahhh!!!! sana maki-cooperate baby ko.

^ yes sis hand carry ang stroller para you can use it pa inside the airport habang hindi pa kayo naka board.

Maybe you need to improvise a bag or be ready to tie your stroller with string before it will be taken from you.
Some airlines allow the umbrella type of stroller kasi maliit siya pag na-fold and can fit inside the stowage bin. Inquire nalang with your travel agency. Minsan, sa ticket naka print if the umbrella type stroller is allowed.
So far I haven't heard of anyone bringing walker at the airport. Kaya lang, like the stroller, it will definitely be asked from you before you board the plane and can also be prone to damage when thrown-in in the cargo area.

Hello m0mmies!

Me and my 6mos.old baby boy will also fly to HK to visit his dada on july 10. nagdecide kami na wag ng dalhin ang stroller niya baka kasi mahirapan ako, instead yung baby carrier na lang siguro ang gagamitin ko.

Regarding sa airfare, hubby paid around 15k for my ticket cebu pacific may connecting flight pa un from tagbilaran. si baby walang pamasahe.

I'm going to travel too with my 7 months old baby 3 weeks from now (first time). I paid around 150 euro for my baby's fare (mine is around 1300 euro) so infant talaga eh konti lang bayad.  Dami ko din fears sa pagtravel kase its just me with my baby.  yung hubby ko kase eh after 1 week pa susunod (sobrang atat kase ako umuwi kaya di ko na naintay vacation niya). Tapos yung stroller ni baby medyo malaki (not the umbrella type), balak ko sana buy ng umbrella type bago umuwi pero since I read here somebody brought a graco stroller or just like Mommy Jazz says, I'd rather ask the airlane which type of stroller is allowed. At sana maging safe travel at free from A(H1n1) virus!!!

When we boarded kinuha yun stroller but pag dating namin it was right in front of the door ng plane  ???
Kasi wala naman kahit ano, not even a scratch  ;)

we flew back here from the province after a month of giving birth last march..

yung 5 yr.old daughter ko full na yung byad

then yung infant 20% yung byad niya.

tip lang if you'll riding with an infant, at the final approach of the plane you need to feed the baby coz it will damage his/her hearing if you will not...

we went to HK disneyland when my son was only 5 mos., and the travel was tolerable. He was a bit fussy but most of the time he's just playing, naglalambitin sa upuan! According to his pedia, after 2 weeks of life pwede na ibyahe si baby but make sure your milk bottle and pacifier are both ready especially during take off and landing, nadidistract si baby and at the same time may movement ang facial muscles niya (it lessens daw the pressure). Kapag over na ang discomfort niya, you can give the baby benadryl daw.

I guess, my son enjoyed the flight, he stared and smiled to the most beautiful cabin crew in the plane. ;D
