sis confirm ko lang ah, WAHM?? work at home Mom?

yes for me sis, working for 7years in the corporate world doesnt beat a full time mom and working at home. Considering you have the business or the skills to be a homebased employee...then you are ON!!!

2years pa lang akong nag VA work part time last year pero this year is fulltime na. I finally decided to quit...medyo malaki na baby ko 2years old na maraming milestones na sya, and it was the best decision i've made for mysellf and my sanity. hehe

ok din ang sahod. like na like ko ang flexibility ng time.

hi sis,

VA - stands for Virtual Assistant ka. More or so the same ng set up mo sa office you work 8hours for full time or 4hours if part time. difference lang is ang day job mo you see the officemates and the head, supervisor etc. but if you are a VA through skype or ym lang ang communication sometimes nga email lang ok na yon sa kanila. You can have 2 or 3 employers depending on the criteria of your employer if meron syang desktop tracker na ipapa install sa desktop mo to see if you really working on your tasks etc.

Kung ano work related ang ipapagawa sayo yon ang gagawin mo. Flexible ang time kasi mag.negotiate kayu on what is best for both, kasi foreigners majority so iba ang time nila.

It's good but at the same time mahirap din...
I tried to be WAHM kase nga gusto ko maalagaan pa din si baby,..
I tried to teach at home pero it's hard kase si baby knew that I'm just around so he will shout for my name and look for me all over the house,...so nadidistract ang mga class ko,
what we do is I have to dress like aalis ako ng house para he will think na nasa office ako....
and pa nasa harap na ako ng PC gusto din makialam,

Kaya you should choose a job na sayo yung oras mo at free ka na sa mga house chores....at kay baby....

@momaye

Also, to answer the question, whether or not to be a WAHM depends on your situation. If you can financially afford a temporary pay cut then go ahead. Kasi, if you decide to work from home coming from a corporation, expect lower salary first, especially if you enter a new field.

sorry sa late response sa question mo sis.

I have 2 employers fulltime and 1 employer part time. fulltime is 8 hours ang shift mo, tapos part time is 4hours.

if malaki sahod mo sa dayjob mo sis, stick to your day job nalang until maka pay off kana sa utang or something,. kasi to be honest ang home based na work kailangan ka talaga ng skills, nag start ako from scratch monthly sweldo ko sa first work ko is 8k  which ok na ok for me kasi same lang sa work ko before ang rate.

mostly kasi homebased project based sis

@mommynigerl A Virtual Assistant (VA) is a secretary that not officed base. So in short, you do administrative work from the confines of your home.

Tasks: Could include the ff: answering calls, managing social media account/s of boss, checking/replying to emails, posting articles, making power point presentations, typing letters, etc.

Usually you coordinate with your boss through skype or any other messenger. The number of hours and shift is really up to your boss' preference. Some bosses employ part time VAs while some hire full time. Some don't mind letting you work anytime of the day as long as you complete your number of hours, while some require you to be online when they are too.

You can look for VA jobs on Odesk or Craigslist.

I am also shifting my career! I want to be a WAHM or WAHP (work at home professional).

Apart from daytime job, meron din kasi ako minsan konting raket.  kaya mahirap pag kulang yung oras sa mga kids. Especially na I'm acting as a single parent now!

I'm on my end week sa paghahanap ng online employment. :D
