hello po,

ask ko lang pano ba magluto ng chopsuey.. kasi everytime na kakain kami sa labas or sa mga handaan, gustong gusto ko yung pagkakaluto ng veggies na ito.. yung tipong malapot siya.. 

pls advise naman how to cook this, kahit hindi mabongga yung mga veggies na kasama.. type ko kasi yung lasa esp pag may quail egg siya..

I use Mamasita chopsuey mix and follow directions. Not as good as the real thing but for a non-expert like me, OK na. I  use only 1/2 of the mix. Masyadong maalat kasi pag nilahat ko yung content.

here's my version of chopsuey,  saute chinese chorizo, and garlic then add chicken or meat of your choice, then add stock, when the stock boils, add sayote, carrots, young corn, when the stock boils again, add caulli flower, brocolli, chicharo and cabbage, let the veggies cook, half cook lang, then add patis, sugar and mixture of cornstarch and water pampalapot, or you can also use condensed cream of mushroom it will serve as thickener at the same time, will add flavor to your dish. hope you like it

I use Mamasita chopsuey mix...

Add ko nga pala, when I cooked it for my husband, hindi niya namalayang chopsuey pala yun  :-[ . Next time I'll try mga suggestions dito.

i will use chicken na lang sa chopsuey.. we don't have mama sita's chopsuey mix,kaya pwede na siguro osyter sauce at cornstarch diluted in water. sarap nito :)

Yung sakin naman eto... Ingredients: chicken fillet, chicken liver, 1 small cabbage, garlic, onion, kamatis, baguio beans, carrots, red bell pepper, potato, oyster sauce, sesame oil, ginisa flavor mix, pepper, cornstarch. Procedure: put oil in a kawali, then saute onion, garlic and then yung kamatis. Put the chicken fillet and ginisa flavor mix tapos halo mo. Kahit kalahati lang ng isang sachet ng ginisa. Tikman mo if ok na sayo yung alat. Simmer until meat is tender. Add chicken liver and let it cook for mga 5-10 minutes. Add the potato and carrots then mix. cover and let it simmer mga 5 to 10 minutes bsta pag medyo malambot na, add the baguio beans then mix then cover again and let it simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. then add yung cabbage and red bell pepper. Add oyster sauce and sesame oil. Tancha lang. Depende kasi taste mo. Yung sesame oil para pampabango ko lang sa dish. Pag malambot na lahat,  mix mga 1 tbsp cornstarch sa4 tbsp water tsaka i-pour mo sa chopseuy mo. Mix mo lang hanggang sa kumulo for 5 minutes. Add pepper to taste. Ayan ready to serve na. Madalas ako magluto nyan kasi favorite ng mother in law ko yan. Masarap at malambot daw. :) pwd mo din lagyan ng cauliflower, broccoli at young corn kasabay ng carrots. Always low heat lang. :)   Pag paubos pla ang tubig lagyan mo paunti unti. Make sure wag malunod sa tubig yung niluluto mo hehe pag gusto mo pa ng konting salty taste pwd mo dagdagan ng ginisa flavor mix or patis. :)

Pwd din pla sayote kasabay ng bagui beans mo ilagay. :) actually kahit cabbage at carrots lang ang veggies mo pwd na din. :)
