good day!..

nagsearch po ako sa net kung ano po yung mga hospitals here in marikina, ask ko lang po kung may mga nakapaginquire or nanganak na po dito and also kung magkano:

1. hilario g. lazaro hospital (barangka marikina)
2. Immaculate concepcion Hospital (kaitpunan ave. marikina)
3. P. gonzales hospital (Concepcion marikina)
4. Sta. monica Hospital (BOni ave. tanong marikina)

until now po kasi undecided pa rin ako kung sang hospital ako manganganak, st. vincent or st. victoria pero naghahanap pa rin ako ng makakamura ako, kasi wala na po akong work now and 1st baby ko pa po.. ayaw naman po kasi ng parents ko na maglying in ako and public hospital base na rin sa mga stories ng mga kapitbahay ko..

hope may magresponse po.. thanks in advance mga mommies.. :)

hi sis,
ang medyo familiar lang ako eh yung sta. monica hospital, dun kc affiliated un OB ko, Dr. Amelia Palileo, un pinsan ko dun nanganak, same OB with me, pero that was 2005 pa, and yun relative naman nung pinsan ko, gave birth din sa Sta. Monica yesterday tru CS delivery, with Dr. Palileo din. Yung rate eh umabot yta ng 50K plus since CS siya and wala kc siya Philhealth and isa pa diabetic.
Ok naman yun hospital, malinis kc ako na admit last September 7, 2011, dahil muntik ma preterm, mababait naman yung mga nadatnan ko sa admitting staff, since dun ako nirefer i-admit ng OB ko.

@ sis sheehan, wala ako idea how much NSD sa Sta.

sa MVMC ako nanganak last year,43k total bill namin, NSD, minus na philhealth dun.

@mommy missoni: wow!  :o mahal pala talaga sa marikina valley?
yung 25k-30k yan yung yung sinabi sa akin ng ob q pag sa st. victoria or st. vincent daw ako, pero ward lang daw yan dun and less na rin da philhealth dyan.. kaya if private na yan sa sta. monica, e di mga around 20k pag ward lang less philhealth pa so mga 18k lower pa?..  ;) :)... nabasa ko rin kasi dito na i-qoute ka ng ob mo ng ganyan tapos may mga other expenses pa pala sa ospital.. we are planning na rin yung pabinyag ni baby by feb. para andito yung father ko, kaya gusto ko talagang medyo makamura.. kasi sayang din..

@ hanne, 3 days ako sa marikina valley, bale 3 days/2 nights (parang vacation package! hehe). bale yung package ng OB ko for NSD na private room  is 35k, then yung baby is 12k+ minus pa yung  sa philhealth kaya kulang kulang 43k binayad namin. ewan ko kung bakit mahal yung sa baby, baka kasi naka antibiotics si baby after birth (meconium stain, nagpoop si baby sa loob) :( yung package ng OB ko na 35k di naman niya sinabi if ilang hours yung stay sa hospital. pero sis ang mahal ng quote ng OB mo if overnight lang yun. pano kung gabi ka manganak like me, papauwiin ka na niya ng 12 noon the following day? ;) kasama kasi sa package yung meds mo so kung magsstay ka pa for another night, baka lumaki pa yung bill.

ipon pa dear, malaki din gastos after nyo umuwi from the hospital. follow up check ups, vaccines, diapers, tsaka mga gamot. haaaaay! :'(

before sa marikina valley ako nagpapacheck up, ky dra. teleg.. kaso lageng mahaba ang pila.. one time ako lang magisa pumila, ay dyusko!.. :o kulang na lang kausapin ko sarili ko magisa para lang maaliw.. nataon kasi na madame akong nakasabay na senior, priority daw yun.. kaya lumipat ako dito malapit sa amin.. affiliated sya sa st. vincent and st. victoria.. nung nagpapacheck up ako sa MVMC lage nilang ask kung may healthcard kami, panu ba kumuha nun?.. wala akong i.d eeh.. ;D

mag-aapply ka nun sis sa health insurance company like MEDICcard, maxicare intellicare, etc. usually company benefit yang healthcard, mahal yata kapag hindi. di ko rin gamay  how healthcards work, wala kami nyan eh. pero we're planning to get one na since big help talaga sya pag kailangang mahospitalize.

BTW, i asked the alternate OB kung pwedeng room in si baby. preferred daw nila yun though minsan the pedia wants to keep the baby sa nursery kahit first 8hrs lang. di ba mas tipid ang room in? since may bayad din ang nursery stay?
