@ MommyjazzI consider
Exorcism as the most horrifying book one could ever read. But it's also the most empowering and liberating. Once you read it, you must finish it so that your spiritual journey will be complete.

Exorcism book Fallen angels
The objective of our enemy is to take away our confidence and trust in God...by making us afraid. Pray, receive sacraments... remain with God and don't make any room for doubts.
...
The trick of the evil one is to make us turn away from God and rely on the power and ability of the things of this world. The other side can also do a lot of powerful works and use human beings like us (witches, warlocks, even ordinary people). We are going against super beings, fallen angels...far more intelligent and very powerful. We are being tempted to use our preternatural power against them and to put our faith in that...so that our pride and arrogance will bring us out into the open...away from the protection of God. We should not be the one dealing with them. That's what our guardian angels and saints are there for.
All of us have this preternatural power (according to Fr. Jocis Syquia), but we should not use it. We must humble ourselves down and let God take the fight for us...confident of His love.
I have an audio recording of the recollection on Spiritual Warfare facilitated by Fr. Jocis on April 1, 2009. I haven't been able to share them with anyone yet.
I am reposting below one of the things I wrote in a thread I started but was deleted by Smart Parenting.
Evil spirits, scary things and how to protect your family from them.Daddy Jojo posted on: June 02, 2010, 11:24:02 am
Almost all the evil things that happen in our world are caused by fallen angels or unclean spirits.
God's angels are so many in number that they can only be described as being in multitudes. They are very powerful. When we communicate with them in prayer, they sense it immediately since they do not have any material form. God chose us humans to be his children and this made some angels envious. About 1/3 of them rebelled against God and this led to a war in heaven.
The
fallen angels, led by Satan were defeated and were thrown down to the earth.
Fallen angels come in different forms and have been known throughout human history in different names. They are the Engkanto, the Dwende (even the white ones), the Nuno sa punso, the ghosts or multo...yes, they are those and more.
They have one goal, to make us turn away from God, believe in their powers and fear them. So think twice the next time you say, "tabi-tabi po" because that's a form of idolatry...you are acknowledging them and you subject yourself to their powers.
Fallen angels have no heirarchy. The more powerful rule over the lesser ones and they despise each other.
We belong to God and His Kingdom. We are God's children and we are constantly guarded by His angels (imagine being among the King's precious ones escorted by his "royal guard").
The only problem is when we move away from God's protection by chosing our will over God's.
How to protect our family:

Pray the Rosary, St. Benedict Cross, statue of St. Michael the Archangel

blessed St. Benedict medals, Miraculous Medal of Our Lady or a St. Benedict's Medal
1. Stay away from the bad and believe only in God.Stop believing in anything that would be in conflict with our Christian faith, don't let our lives be run by things like Pamahiin, Feng Shui, superstition, etc.
Be watchful that our children and family members will not engage in occult practices like playing "Spirit of the Glass", Quija Board or witchcraft.
Avoid doing things that will create weak points or openings that demons could target: Do not be envious. Tell your husband to clear his mind of lust and to avoid watching porn.
*while Possession by an evil spirit is something many of us are aware of...the more common form of demonic influence is Obsession.
2. Have an active prayer life.Meditate and mean every word in your prayer. Know by heart some very powerful prayers like "Angel of God" and "Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel".
Pray the Rosary
Join a Charismatic group and experience the Holy Spirit.
3. If you are a Catholic, go to confession and attend mass more regularly, reflect on the readings from the sacred scriptures and recieve the Lord Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
4. When you have a new house and you do not know its history, ask if the priest could first perform an exorcism or deliverance prayers before the actual blessing ritual. Some priests perform specific sealing rituals on doors and other entry points. Aside from Holy Water, they also use conscecrated salt. Ask the priest if you can have some of the remaining Holy Water (be sure you have a bottle ready).
5. You may want to use a St. Benedict Cross for your altar and/or your wall. This is the one that has a medal inscribed with a Latin prayer.6. Include a small statue of St. Michael the Archangel among the sacred images in your altar.
7. Consider placing sacramentals, like blessed St. Benedict medals on your doors
8. Try not to leave small children alone by themselves in areas that are not properly lighted.9. Before you sleep at night, after your evening prayer, you may want to sprinkle some Holy Water around you.10. If you are travelling, you may want to pin a Miraculous Medal of Our Lady or a St. Benedict's Medal on your kids' clothes. "Bati" or curse are often done by people who are into the occult or are simply under the influence of unclean spirits.
11. When you are confronted with unexplainable illnesses or anything paranormal, don't ask the help of the Magtatawas, Espiritistas, Manggagamot/ Healers, Albularyo, etc. Pray to God, ask a priest for guidance and blessing.*the reason why Albularyos appear to be successful at expelling an unclean spirit or removing curses is because the spirit that is working though the Albularyo is more powerful (however it is still not from God).
Remember to do the above things because you are professing your faith in God. The sacred images and sacramentals are not to be used as some sort of amulet but to help you concretize your faith.
Just keep in mind whose side you are on and how many are there to defend you: God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit...the Queen of Heaven - the Blessed Virgin Mary, 2/3 of the innumerable number of angels which include St. Michael the Archangel, and the saints.

"The Exorcism of Emily Rose", The nine choirs of Angels
In April 1, 2009, I was very fortunate to have been invited to “The Word of God: Scourge of the Enemy {Spiritual Warfare and the family}” given by Rev. Fr. Jose Francisco ‘Jocis’ Syquia, director of the Archdiocese of Manila Office of Exorcism {A.M.O.E.}. This "Exorcism Retreat" was held at Valero Plaza, Valero St, Salcedo Village, Makati City.
After this retreat, I purchased and finished the book of Fr. Jocis.
While I was reading, I also finished watching a movie that was so scary, I did not want to see it in full (at first),
"The Exorcism of Emily Rose"Then on that same month, April 2009, many strange things happened. Before we began our yearly Lenten pabasa, the incense we used around my mother in law's house ignited twice on a specific spot in the house (the kitchen and the empty room just above it). When we closed the pabasa, my daughter had the strangest fever ever, she vomitted and stared blankly at us.
As we rushed her to the hospital, I asked for prayers from my companions in the retreat. Since then I have been more prayerful and attend mass more regularly.
On this post I am sharing some of the things I learned in the retreat and the book. I will try to update this message as time permits and I hope you could return to this thread to check.

Prayer Against Every Evil(May be used when one believes oneself under demonic harassment)
Catholic VersionSpirit of our God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Most Holy Trinity, Immaculate Virgin Mary, angels, archangels, and saints of heaven, descend upon me.
Please purify me, Lord, mold me, fill me with yourself, use me.
Banish all the forces of evil from me, destroy them, vanquish them, so that I can be healthy and do good deeds.
Banish from me all spells, witchcraft, black magic, malefice, ties, maledictions, and the evil eye; diabolic infestations, oppressions, possessions; all that is evil and sinful, jealousy, perfidy, envy; physical, psychological, moral, spiritual, diabolical ailments.
Burn all these evils in hell, that they may never again touch me or any other creature in the entire world.
I command and bid all the powers who molest me---by the power of God all powerful, in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, through the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary --- to leave me forever, and to be consigned into the everlasting hell, where they will be bound by Saint Michael the archangel, Saint Gabriel, Saint Raphael, our guardian angels, and where they will be crushed under the feet of the Immaculate Virgin Mary.
