judge for civil wedding
« on: October 21, 2011, 11:39:45 am »

hi moms & dads out there,

just want to ask kung may kilala ba kayong judge or any legal person who can solemnize a civil wedding?
any suggestions na din medyo mabilisan po kc do you think po ba kakayanin yung tagal ng process hanggang november? need ko kasi ng marriage certificate by november sana eh now palang kami magstart mag process sa cityhall.  iniisip ko kasi baka pag mayor mas matagalan kami.

Thanks hope to hear from you guys..

sis, saang city ba kayo?

if in qc (as well as nearby cities), di naman ganon katagal process. it's just getting the marriage license ang nagpapatagal. i know a judge as well as a pastor there. marikina too.

it's the same process with a mayor. if ever, mababawasan lang kayo ng ilang days if ipadaan nyo sa "facilitator" who will guarantee for a fee teh certificate of attendance to the seminars you have to attend.

if 3rd to last week of november, you can finish it all by then.

This mon na nga kami pupunta ng NSO to file for our CENOMAR palang then that day din siguro baka makapunta na kami sa munisipyo.

sis, did you check if marikina requires a cenomar? as of 3 years ago kasi, it is not a requirement for an application for marriage license. i forgot na how much total cost but i think di lumagpas ng P1,000 for everything.

yes, it's the same process, whether mayor or judge.

4 kasi 2 long weekends sandwiched ang 1st week of november. baka may mga magbakasyong mga judges kasi entitled sila to 1 month straight leave.

yes, bonding time nyo din. pati nga sa seminar on reproductive health nakakatuwa. may recitation pa he he. enjoy naman, yung iba kasi nagbabayad na lang para makakuha ng certificate of attendance but it's fun to attend din.

di naman required na white dress, but if you want to wear one, even a gown then go. we all want to look pretty for our wedding day. but if wala naman, any semi-formal dress will do para sa guard pa lang sa baba, they know na ikakasal kayo. tip pala: di sila nagpapasok ng sleeveless and naka shorts, slippers. if naka sleeveless your guest, need ng jacket/bolero/cover up - kayo na lang magdala 1 or 2 in case wala sila.

re gift to ninong/ninang, ito yung nakalimutan ko sa amin. he he. better siguro, may small token din to remind them of your wedding.

now lang kasi ako naka read ng thread - but am really happy for you sis!  :)

For those who had CIVIL WEDDING
« Reply #12 on: March 13, 2013, 07:40:36 pm »

TIA :)
