Requesting for Letter from Parish Priest??
« on: May 31, 2012, 10:49:29 am »

Hi mga mommies! I'm planning for my baby's baptismal. I've inquired from a certain church na gusto ko pabinyagan si baby, requirements nila:
-birth certificate
-marriage contract
-letter from Parish

if not married:
-certificate from hospital
-letter from parish

My question is, panu ba kumuha ng Letter from Parish na nirerequire nila?

Thanks!

Just go to the parish of your community and request for a letter that they "allow" the ceremony to be held in a parish outside your community.

they ask you now for a permit from the parish where you reside. we got one na for our daughter although sa june pa ang binyag niya. it was what we expected kasi para lang syang acknowledgement receipt tapos nakalagay yung name ng bata and the date kung kelan ang binyag. tapos 300 yung fee dito sa amin. malayo pa kasi if dito pa pupunta tapos babalik din kami sa mismong bayan for the reception. the one at the office even asked kung pinayagan kami. pupunta ba naman kami para kumuha if they didn't ask us to get a permit from the parish, di ba?
