I've had 3 CS na, but for this pregnancy, my doctor said na pwede kami mag try for VBAC since my pregnancy is looking good. Kaso mag 6 months pa lang ako, kaya diba anything can still happen? However, I want to consider waterbirth. I have been reading alot about it and I feel that I can help me avoid any form of medication *if my pregnancy goes well, go into labor well, etc etc.*. Na traumatized na kasi ako sa last experience ko sa hospital with my 3rd CS kasi. In fact waterbirth is safe especially sa transition for baby from womb to air. And it can also help sa labor pains if you dilate over 5cm. I'm a little scared about VBAC, but I am determined to bring my baby into this world naturally if possible.

Can anyone help me by giving me tips to prepare myself and my body for VBAC? What do you  suggest about waterbirthing? I need all the help I can get ... =( Thanks!!!!!!!

I've posted in another thread about this, pero kasi am looking for suggestions and possible options sana. I've been through 3 CS na, but for this pregnancy, my doctor said na pwede kami mag try for VBAC since my pregnancy is looking good. Kaso mag 6 months pa lang ako, kaya diba anything can still happen? However, I want to consider waterbirth. Na traumatized na kasi ako sa last experience ko sa hospital with my 3rd CS kasi.

Sa mga nabasa ko waterbirth is safe especially sa transition for baby from womb to air, especially if the umbilical cord is left intact until the placenta comes out completely .

I need all the help I can get kasi si hubby medyo lost and my mom's pretty freaked out sa decision ko to prepare myself for a natural birth and not CS. Truth is talaga, I am not ready for another CS emotionally and mentally. I might end up running out of the operating room  the moment I see the anaesthesiologist prep up.

Sorry po out of topic..nagulat lang ako..

Balik tayo sa topic..hmmmm CS din ako sa first child ko..and i'm 6moths pregnant now..nagiisip pa din ako if itatry ko ulit magnormal delivery..natatakot kasi talaga akong maCS ulit..pero sabi ng OB pwede naman namen itry mg normal..sana pahintulutan ni LORD :)

That's okay.... =D Well before yun din sinasabi nila, pero I did some research , asked doctors dito sa pinas and via email with some docs/doulas/midwives sa states and lalo na with ICAN, there are actually some mothers who have gone through 5 CS before calling it quits. Others, alternate CS then VBAC, CS then VBAC ulit. Depende daw kasi sa condition ng uterus, pregnancy and stitchings. Yun past pregnancies ko kasi stressed ako.

Sa first two, young battered mother ako by the biological dad of my two kids so I always went into pre term labor. Time din na yun, very young pa ako and I was ignorant pa about birthing, kumbaga, oo lang ng oo sa OB na excited mag CS =) Sa thrid baby ko with my current partner,I was still working sa call center and ayun na stress talaga and yun napili namin na OB palpak. Sinabihan ko siya na there's something wrong with my fluid and that I was leaking, hindi daw hindi daw, weewee lang daw yun, after a month ayun si baby lalabas na at six months, then she passed me onto another doctor to take responsibility.  My baby died after a few days with clinical sepsis.

Sa baby ko ngayon, very ingat kami, i work from home, laging nakahiga, laging nagpapahinga, so everything is turning out right as we had anticipated. Mag 7months na ako next week which is great! Baby's is active and doing fine. Kaya sabi nila I still have a good chance of VBAC.... I was asked if I wanted to ligate, sabi ko no. And sabi ng doctor ko its okay. SAbi din ng isang nakausap ko sa ICAN, I have the right to chose and if I do go VBAC now and okay pa din lahat inside me, I can still try for another pregnancy after a resting for at least 18 months. Pero I'm not sure about another one =D hehe.... Doctors cannot force a woman to have a ligation, unless medically recommended and/or required due to a medical condition. It's a right that we all women and mothers have.

Visit the ICAN website and read through their birthing stories from all over the world, may doula din sila sa Cebu that you can email for some advice.  Normal delivery is safer than CS for both mother and child, kung walang medical issues. I just really want to opt for a water birth if everything goes well kasi daw mas madali mag labor and birth sa warm water than laying down on a hard bed. Sis, scary talaga mag CS ulit, pero we need to be strong and believe that we can do it kung gusto talaga natin mag VBAC. Get support from daddy, family and friends din. Kaya mo yan! I'm very afraid too, pero I know my body and my baby needs VBAC this time.

BTW, if anyone knows a doula or VBAC birthing class anywhere near CAinta, Pasig, Antipolo or Marikina, let me know ha....

Normal Delivery after CS, anyone who have tried?
« Reply #51 on: December 10, 2012, 04:16:37 pm »

Hi Mommoies out there! I would like to ask if any of you who have tried giving birth through NSD (normal delivery) after a CS childbirth? I almost 8mo preggy mommies ETD is 2nd week of Feb 2013. My OB told me that i could opt to try normal delivery though I have been through CS less than 2 yrs ago. Has anybody of you tried it mommies? Please share you experiences, I am so eager to know as I will soon decide whether or not to try NSD or have my OB schedule for a CS operation.

Hi Mommies. newbie here. Just to share lang my OB's info. She Dr. Carmencita Nicolas from East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City. She is a pro VBAC OB. Actually, ang pagitang lang ng babies ko is one year and 2 months pero ok lang sa kanya to try the VBAC but unfortunately ayaw ni hubby kasi baka daw delikado. Depended daw sa tahi un. She's no my OB kay first baby which isa rin sa naging factor kung bakit pumayag ni hubby. Pero sabi niya kasi you maybe a candidate for VBAC pero it does not mean na your gonna deliver na vaginally. Depende pa di nsa case. You may check her at fer office at Room 204 every Mon-Fri 9-11am.

VBAC after classical CS
« Reply #54 on: February 24, 2013, 08:18:55 pm »

HI mommies! Is there anybody here who had VBAC though classical cut yung C-section nila? Or do you know anyone na naging successful ang VBAC kahit patayo yung scar ng CS nila? Sobrang gusto ko kasi talaga na magnormal delivery on my next baby though hindi pa naman ngayon since I just gave birth 2 months ago. Pero sobrang anxious lang talaga ako kasi according sa mga nabasa ko, mataas ang risk ng uterine rupture with classical incision. Hays.  :(

I went through CS operation kasi ayaw magdilate ng cervix ko. Hanggang 5cm lang inabot tapos as in sapilitan pa. After irapture yung waterbag ko, naghintay ng 5 hours pa bago nagdecide si OB na CS na. Nung tinanong ko sya nung check-up ko after giving birth if possible pa magNSD, she said di na daw. Sobrang nadedepress talaga ako dahil naCS ako. help me mommies see some light of hope.  :-[

« Reply #59 on: May 23, 2013, 01:29:15 pm »

it depends kung ilan years ang gap ng pregnancy mo. sam tayo ng case. induced kasi yung first pregnancy ko, tapos na-stuck na sa 5cm, kaya emergency cs din ako. now im 8 months pregnant with our second child. 2 years, 5 months na yung panganay ko. sabi ng ob ko pwede naman daw itry magnormal, kaso syempre may risks. i opted to have another cs na lang which is schedules on june 18. parang natrauma ko dun sa induced labor ko sa panganay ko. saka on the safe side na din.
