Home HPV tests are conducted by collecting cervical cell samples using a brush, sent afterwards to laboratories for testing.
Millions of women around the world can detect cervical cancer more efficiently with this procedure.

Our company will hold a CCV program and I will grab the oppurtunity to join since the price per dose is only 1,800 unlike with my OB she offers it for 2,500. Yes, 3 doses is required for it. The good thing is that the payment is cut into 6 months para magaan para sa magbabayad at salary deduction siya.

I had my 1st and 2nd shot of HPV vaccine (Cervarex) in Abu Dhabi and its a little bit more expensive 850dirhams, mga Php9000 converted to peso, but my last vaccine dito na sa Pinas and it only cost me Php3000, kaibigan kasi namin OB ko bale yung gamot lang ang binayaran ko....

I know its expensive but if you have enough to spare talagang mas maganda for you to have the shots at the soonest possible time...

God bless mga sis!

Sa OB ko, mga 3,6k raw, as of present time. Magpapa-vaccine na lang kami ni Mommy right after I give birth siguro. :)

Question Mommies.

I had my first vaccine Nov 2010, then 2nd shot is Dec 2010. As per the OB's advised, after 6 months daw yung last shot. Problem is, I got pregnant February 2011, so di ako nakapagpa-vaccine. Can I still take the last shot or kelangan ko ulitin? I asked 2 OBs about it and magkaiba yung sagot nila. :( Yung isa, isang shot nalang daw. Any one who have the same dilemna? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! :)

@ mommy orangetag!
Actually  I was in the same dilemma before, because I was suppose to have my last shot August 2010 but I got pregnant March 2010 just after I had my second shot, when I inform my OB about my situation she said that I can have my last shot just after I gave birth and I do not need to redo the first two shots. Although due miscarriage on my 8th week of pregnancy I was still able to have my last shot as scheduled.
So if you are pregnant now and is scheduled to have your last shot in the period while you are pregnant, you can take your last shot after you give birth, that is according to my OB.
Hope this helps...
God bless!

May mga nagsasabing hindi na kailangan ang vaccine dahil mapigilan naman daw ang HPV infection through proper screening like Pap smear (most cancers were prevented through early screening and detection).

ako kasi ang pananaw ko sa cervical cancer vaccine eh, no need take vaccine as long as you have only one partner and your partner is kaw lang din ang partner. (ang gulo ko ata hehe basta yun na yun) pero personal opinion ko lang yan ha.. nasa sa inyo pa rin yun kung gusto nyo talaga magtake ng Gardasil / HVP vaccine just to make sure you won't get the cervical cancer.

Have a blessed day! :)

Hi Mommy Galathea! Actually, my problem is more than a year na after I gave birth yung 2nd dose ko. 1 1/2 year ago na yata.

Napabasa ako from page one til the end, kasi meron dito sa office eh Php 5160 for 3 shots na daw tapos salary deduction pa.
