hindi po kaya naging parang pang-comfort niya yun kaya nagbalik siya sa pagdede? Ang alam ko sabi ng mga ibang mommies na kilala ko maganda daw po na gawin natin example yung mga mastatanda sa kanilang mga bata...

For example:

Kung nag-dede pa rin siya at nag-school na si baby... try to ask him/her kung meron ba sa mga ibang classmate niya na nadede pa rin sa feeding bottle. If ever na sinabi ni baby na wala na try to explain kung bakit hindi na dumedede yung mga classmate niya sa feeding bottle but instead they drink their milk sa drinking glass na lang. ^_^

my daughter is 1 year 9 months old pero sa bottle pa rin siya umiinom. i tried introducing the sippy cup nung 1 year 6 months siya pero ayaw niya, tinutulak lang niya. idi-diretso ko na lang siya sa cup, i'll buy one for her later and over the weekend ita-try ko siyang i-wean from the bottle.

hello.. i am very lucky for my daughter that at the age of 3, she is drinking milk using glasses. I did not even tried the drinking cup for her to train drinking her milk on the glasses instead of bottle.

It was just a one night training for my baby. I just told her that she is already a big girl, and time to let go of her baby bottles. I told her that all her bottles are gone and nowhere to be found, only cups and glasses are available in the kitchen.

thank you mommy cheng for the apprecaiation. i am just lucky na kahit sa ibang changes sa kanya di niya ko pinahirapan -- like no longer wearing the diaper and how to sit on the bowl for her bowel movement.

hay. dapat talaga earlier din.

my 2 and 7 months old daughter still drink milk from her bottle. if we give milk to her in a cup, titignan, iinumin konti. aagawin cup, then hayun. biglang tapon.   

iba iba kasi kids. they will be the ones really to say when it's the right time for them - we can only guide them. we just have to be patient.

nahirapan din ako mag switch yong 1yr 5mos na baby ko.  Pag paiinumin ng tubig nasasamid palagi kahit sa bottle o glass pag papainumin naman sa glass ang ginagawa naman niya alam niyo yong parang biglang lalak kahit na aalalayan namin namumumyersa pa rin siya at saka pinaglalaruan pa yong glass sinasawsaw yong kamay niya hindi ko talaga ma-monitor the whole day kasi wala ako sa house...

Hi im such a neophyte here.. its only my second post...im a first time mommy to a toddler who will turn 2 and a half next year...my question po and forgive me for not knowing as Ive been having maybe too much time with my baby I hardly ask or read infos like this...at what age po ba should a baby or toddler stop drinking milk from feeding bottles?

Hi mommies! I'd like to ask your experience/s in weaning your babies from drinking milk in the bottle. My kids are currently 4 years old, 3 years old and 9 months. Yung dalawang panganay isa-start ko na sana patigilan uminom ng milk sa bote nila, plano ko sana paunti-unti naman. Sana yung sa gabi na lang sila magdedede sa bote hanggang sa matigil na rin nila yun nang tuluyan.

Your advices would be very much appreciated.

^hi sis. ako rin sana gusto ko na sya matuto uminom ng milk sa cup. marunong naman si baby uminom from sippy cup kaya lang nasanay sya na kapag konti na lang ang laman ng sippy cup niya, she raises the bottom of the sippy cup to empty the contents which is tama naman, pero ganun din ginagawa niya sa mga regular cups, so natatapon ang laman at ang ending eh basang-basa si baby. i've found a website giving tips about bottle weaning. it might help. http://bottleweaning.com/
