A man who has friends must himself be friendly.

Proverbs 18:24

^Friendliness must begin with us. We must take the initiative in developing relationships with others. Let us be to others what we desire for ourselves. When it comes to friends, to have one you must be one! --Richard De Haan

Micah 7:18-19
18 Who is a God like you,
   who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
   of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever
   but delight to show mercy.
19 You will again have compassion on us;
   you will tread our sins underfoot
   and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

There is nothing in us that can make God forgive us. Forgiveness is all because of His grace.

When you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Proverbs 31:30

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.

Today, it's Phil. 4:13 "I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength"... Though I have so many things to do, I know God is always by my side... To encourage and motivate me to pursue the day... The week... :) God bless us!

para sa mga may kagalit :)

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret-it leads only to evil (Psalm 37:8).

Applicable ito sa marami specially working moms. When I was still working, may mga co-employees ako na mapanira, even a boss who curses and embarrass his employees. So eto and verse(s) ko ngayon.

Romans 12:14-21

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”says the Lord. 20 On the contrary:

   “If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
   if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.

In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”[c]

 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Actually yung verse na binaggit ko "bless and do not curse", hindi lang for a day ko ginagawang inspiration. Lately I feel changes in me. Lagi nating naririnig sa mga sermon "love your enemies" daw and there are many teachings and parables about forgiving. Of course mahirap yon. The thing is, God has saved and forgiven us so we have no right to be unforgiving to others. Pero mahirap pa rin yon.

In the book I'm reading right now "The Power of a Praying Woman", it says there that if you pray for someone you hate, it doesn't mean that they are right or what they have done is justified. Praying for them releases them into God's hands. So instead of wishing na madapa sana siya, malasin sana siya or maghirap sana siya, try praying good things for the person you hate. Maliwanagan sana siya, may his/her children grow up to be productive and God fearing, whatever caused him/her to act that way, please release him from his personal issues, may she have a fruitful future, etc. This way din since you have prayed (and loved) your enemies, your prayers and offerings will be acceptable to God.

"Man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires" (James 1:20).

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret-it leads only to evil (Psalm 37:8).

Angry people usually justify their anger, saying it's someone else's fault they are angry. Yet the Bible repeatedly warns us against giving in to anger when we are upset by other people's words or actions.
There is such a thing as righteous anger. And sometimes we need to talk about problems or deal with dangerous situations. (Even at these times, we must exercise self-control.) Yet most of the time, our anger is not righteous.

When we give in to anger, we often focus on our own welfare, comfort or happiness. Instead, we should be primarily concerned about other people’s welfare and being a good witness for God.
As you can see in the following Scriptures, God does not want us to simply react emotionally to others' actions. Instead, we should respond with wisdom and a gentle spirit.

God bless evryone <><
