Hi! just want to share this  before using injectable contraception make sure 1st that u are not pregnant and walang hypertension or cardiac d/o.
- given every 3 mo and safe for breastfeeding mothers.
disadvantages includes changes in menses ( light spotting or heavy bleeding at first but rarely)

I guess hiyangan lang talaga yan.

Pills for me. :)

hello po!! good day!

newbie po ako dito.. and very happy nka-joined na sa mga discussions..

yan din po ang question ko, kasi yung hubby ko wants me to have injectable.. since isa po siyang seaman.. natatakot po akong mabuntis uli.. we will be having our first baby next month.. and at the same time uwi na din siya..

@baby_sophia

hi sis.. congrats malapit ka na magkababy! masaya yan... ang alam ko yung injectables pag 2 mos or 1 month ka na nanganak iniinject, di ako sure ha hehe di naman kayo agad makakapag contact kasi may sugat ka pa..pano kung CS kapa mas matagal hehe ako kasi gamit ko daphne pills since nagpapabreastfeed ako.. sabi nila contraceptive din daw ang BF pero hindi 100 % na di ka mabubuntis, so yung OB ko niresetahan ako ng daphne pill. pag manganak ka na u can ask your OB what is the better contraceptives..  :)

Hello, if I remember correctly 1 month after ko nanganak tska ko nagpainject. Ok naman injectable wala naman side effects for me. Although di ko lam if effect nun yung di ko pagpayat kahit na nagdidiet ako..or baka kasi di ko sinasamahan ng exercise kaya di ako pumapayat. hehe!  :) Suggest to ask your OB just to be sure.

Hi Mommy leegirl. I would say pills. Kasi ang injectables every 3 months lang eh. And yung sakin before is 500 per shot lang. yung pills kasi is monthly and yung nireseta sakin is around 750. Not sure if may mas mura dun. So mas mura talaga ang injectables.

Hi sa inyo!

Para sakin, I suggest injectables.. Share ko lang experience ko.. I had my first shot of Depotrust last April 2012, 1 week akong spotting.. And then nawala na.. Im still breastfeeding my youngest child.. Now my appetite increased.. I'll have my 2nd shot on July 30, 2012. Good luck on finding the right family planning method.. :)

i forgot to add, depotrust is only 110 in mercury drug.. tapos kung may doctor ka kailala, you can tell them to make the shot.. Pero I got my first shot with an OBgyne.. 400 pesos siya, with consultation fee na yun..

And also, i read from mims.com.. Depotrust is also for lactating mothers.. chaka tinanong ko din yun sa OB, pwede daw sa nagpapa breastfeed..

Hope my reply helped. :D

I'm new here and I'm sorry for asking this (tamad lang mag-scroll ng forum  ;D) para sa inyo which is more effective pills or injectibles? I want to knwo more from people who've tried or case-to-case basis siya na pwede ok sa isang tao hindi ok sa iba.

Thanks sa help.
