sabi ng byenan ko ang pinakasecret sa masarap na bbq is yung kind ng meat na gagamitin mo.. kung sa pork, yung lomo part ang pinaka best part kasi malambot daw sya pag naihaw.. sa beef naman, yung kalbi ang tawag eh. mlambot din yun pag naihaw.. well,si byenan pag gumawa ng pork bbq, sobrang pinapanood ko talaga. yung lomo part ng baboy i-cut into bite size,di naman gaano thin/thick.. babad sa toyo,kalamansi, salt and pepper,konting sprite.tantya na lang mommy_cess. babad for 1 hrpataas,dapat nasa loob ng ref. bago mo ituhog sa stick,mag fry ka muna ng ilang pcs to taste. kung ok na sa panlasa mo,deretso ka na sa pagtuhog. kung nakukulangan ka sa alat, add more salt. saka mo tuhugin. habang nagiihaw,may pamahid sa barbeque, yung konting toyo,catsup at mantika. para di dumikit sa ihawan. natatakam na ko hehe... pagaaralan ko magpost ng picture para mapost ko ang finish product :)

Hi mommy_cess, ako I used mama sita barbecue sauce but I add garlic, pepper, soysauce and calamansi para mas malasa then hayaan ko syang nakababad for not less than 1 hr and overnight if possible para talagang malasa.  ;)

Eto ginawa ko kagabi for dinner. Wala akong bbq mix so I just used the following:
minced garlic, toyo, tomato paste mixed with water (wala tomato sauce eh) and sinigang mix (wala ako calamansi, basta hindi ko na lalagyan ng salt because the sinigang mix is salty already).

I learned from my SIL to soak the bbq sticks muna sa water para hindi manikit yung meat sa sticks. I also place a big pan cover over the grill to keep the heat into the meats. Mahina din yung baga and slow ang pag ihaw to keep the meat moist, not dry. Of course pahid-pahid ng marinade.
It took 2 tries for me to perfect it. Nagustuhan ng mga kids ko.
