My new yaya is a tomboy
« on: August 25, 2012, 09:55:06 pm »

Ive got a new yaya again but i didnt know na tomboy sya.well she doesnt look like one. May itsura pa naman.  She's just 16yrs old from our province. Ok.. Tomboy... Fine. Nung una, parang no issues... but then, pag kausap niya my eldest (girl, 6years old) na ang daming tanong ng anak ko re: her hair, her shorts, etc- kako di kaya bad effect yun sa anak ko? ::)

Just answer your daughter's question. I'm sure it will help her realize what's going on and she'll have an open mind.
My brother is gay and my son often would sometimes ask him why his hair is long instead of short like his grandfathers' or my husband.

I just remind him that people have preferences. I keep it short and simple - "because that's how tito wants his hair".
I'm sure habang tatanda yung anak ko mas marami pa siyang itatanong, pero I will answer.

My pamangkin din na nakakasama namin dito sa bahay is a tomboy. ;-)
Tama si mommy france, answer every question short and simple. And Im planning na when Enzo can undertand na, ill explain kung ano ang 'ate van' niya. And tell him to always be polite and respect her just the way I do to all gays.

Thanks sis lelen!

Actually, dun ako nagwoworry.may girl kasi akong anak (na nasa "sponge year") kaya napaparanoid ako na baka may maihawa si yaya esp sa pagkilos. Well, i guess, i need to tutok din kay yaya para macorrect din yung mga attitude or kilos na medyo mali  :D

Thanks! Thanks!
