I agree, I also did not use powder for my baby to avoid asthma.

But if you insist, why not try -

BABY LIQUID POWDER

Use only products like BabySpa VCO Liquid Powder which have been
especially made for babies. It has a break-through formula thatís liquid
when applied then turns into powder! So itís safe and gentle for your
baby!

Baby Spa is ok pero siguro after two months na or if pedia says its ok na to put on powder. Ako I used Tiny Buds Baby Rice Powder. It doesn't contain talc and it really repels water. I sell Baby Spa and Tiny Buds products. Just check my multiply shop (see my signature for the link). Thanks!

This new generation, Pedia don't recommend using baby powder for newborn anymore. Pwede ka pa rin bumili at lagyan si baby pero sa likuran lang at butt ni baby but never in front of the baby's body daw kasi hindi maganda sa kalusugan ni baby. Anyways, pwede naman kahit alin sa J&J, Nivea or Chicco or even Tender care, wala naman pinipili pero kung may rashes si baby, better use mga drapolene para hindi irritated si baby from diaper rash.

Siguro mommy prettyhazel don't use any lotion or cologne or powder for your baby yet. Kasi baka magka asthma sya.

I suggest you use mothercare liquid talc. It transform to powder once applied so no worries. Thats my problem also before since i really wanted to use baby powder on my baby's fold parts and he smells musky when he sweats esp in d afternoon.

According to my doctor and my lamaze/childbirth teacher, we shouldn't use baby powder on newborns. They're too young pa for those. Your baby can ingest and inhale the tiny particles, which can cause allergies, asthma, and breathing/respiratory problems.

Hope this helps! :)

sis as much as possible talaga sabi ng pedia no powder for newborns..pero if in case katulad ng anak ko 1 month pa lang pawisin na..her pedia recommended johnsons 99% pure cornstarch powder ..mas safe daw ito kesa baby powder which are made of talc kahit masinghot ni baby hindi makacause ng asthma..but sabi din ni pedia this is to be used on skin folds lang like singit, leeg, armpits and likod just to prevent perspiration :)

Kahit naman mag one year old na ang mga babies, still, they are at risk on inhaling powder, still harmful, kaya walang pinag kaiba months old or a year old babies na pina-powder-an. For me it is about how you use it. And its true na mas safe if we dont put any powder at all. Pero if hindi talaga maiiwasan gumamit, cornstarch powder and/or liquid talc is recommended, just be extra careful on applying it. And we make sure na hindi tayo dusty mag apply.

not yet, don't use powder for 2 weeks baby not advisable.
punas-punas nalang muna and make sure comfortable yung tulugan niya at di siya irritable.
