Working while pregnant...
« on: September 14, 2012, 11:18:47 am »

Share your experiences here.

I am working and currently at my 28 weeks, mahirap kase stress and pagod most of the time pero I see to it na may pahinga mode ako kawawa naman si baby napapagod din. Kaya minsan pag over work na ko at nakakalimot akong preggy ako super likot niya na parang my baby's telling me na "Mommy, rest muna..."

I was diagnosed of having a Placenta Previa Marginal, however I need to work kahit anung sabi ng Doctor na I should be in Bed Rest I have no choice, I need to work para may maipon... But still minsan kinakabahan din ako pag medyo toxic sa work lalo sa Airline pa ko nagwwork so dapat laging on the go.

I'm just praying na my baby and I will overcome this pregnancy ng maayos and hindi magpreterm.

hi sis,

me too, working while preggy.. 2nd pregnancy ko na ito and both i may say, nagwowork ako until i file my maternity leave.. actually, kung hindi naman need na mag rest at wala naman gano complicaitons, mas nakakatulong nga yung kumikilos kilos ka kasi at the same time, na eexercise ang mind at body mo PERO if OB tells you to take at least a wek or two of rest, better siguro, pahinga ka din kasi it is also for your baby's health.

me nga, im 33 weeks na, super malikot at mabigat si baby to the point na napapa ngiwi at aray ako ng di oras, pero keribels lang.. happy ako kasi lam kong active baby siya.. lagi ko lang siyang kinakausap na behave siya at wag niya ako pahirapan until na lkumabas siya just like his kuya..

btw, FA ka ba sis or AE?.. take care at lam kong toxic yang trabaho na yan.. ako nunng 1st pregnancy ko, duvadillan naman ang katuwang ko, hehe..

Hello Sisses! Since yung location ng work ko halos puro in'tl forwarding so mga trucks talaga dumadaan dun, sobrang basag yung kalsada.. Hehe.. Eh i need to ride a tricycle pa pag hindi ako naihahatid ni hubby (magkalayong workplace and different working hours kami so di lagi naihahatid) so yun yung pinakakinatakot ko.. Plus, my boss allowed / offered me to work from home naman, pero hindi ko pa kinakagat..

I was working as a programmer when I was pregnant. Medyo fortunate ako nung panahong nagbubuntis ako kasi training pa lang. Kakasimula pa lang kasi ng account. The bulk of the work came in when I got back from my ML.

Kailangan talaga umiwas sa stress. At kung may stress man, ang importante wag magpa-apekto.

:) Good pm, guys!! I'm also a working preggy.. actually, it's my fifth child abut it's the first time na nagwowork ako na preggy.. Ang hirap pa kasi night shift ako.. Talagang me mga times na ang hirap bumangon.. 7pm to 4am ang shift ko tuesday to saturday.. Though minsan favor din kasi hirap din talaga me matulog pag gabi.. Minsan, nagbibleed talaga me pag pressured.. Im on my 23 weeks at me advice din for bed rest pero sayang din kasi.. Ganun talaga we're moms of the new generation eh..  :) Basta, palagi naman nakasupport si HUBBY eh..

Moms of the New Generation--- I AGREE :D

I'm on my 36th week na and currently working as an ESL Online Instructor. I'll be on my maternity leave na by the end of this month (on my 38th week). I travel everyday from QC to Makati.

Nakakaawang buntis  ;D
