We wrap foil on the electrical chord of all energy consuming appliances (microwave, refrigerator, tv, aircon, electric fan, airpot, rice cooker, etc etc) and wrap rubber bands around it. This is suppose to lessen the consumption...

at night we turn off the refrigerator tapos lagyan na lang namin ice or if you don't want the mess merun naman yung mga gel pack to keep things cold. malaki talaga natipid namin sa kuryente

thanks sa info mommy imee, sakto may tronix sa ever gotesco ortigas, ask ko kung meron sila nung nire-recommend mong devices, pero sis can you tell us kung magkano? kasi baka mashock ako na mahal pala  :D

unplug all electrical appliances when not in use since plugged appliance still consumes electricity..dati hindi kame nag-a-unplug but when we tried this bumaba nga electric bill namen maybe not that much but still noticeable ;)

-Paint your rooftop white so it deflects heat from the sun (para its cooler inside your home and you use less aircon)
-Water heaters or anything that produces heat consumes a lot of energy, so if you can avoid them, do so
-Turn off all lights and appliances not in use
-unplug all appliances not in use
-Kung kayang mag electric fan lang, then use it

There's another tio that's called green roof- it's big in some countries in Europe. They put plants on top of their roofs and what happens is the plants help regulate indoor temperature. Para you can save on energy costs.
