Charity ward in private hospitals like St.Lukes Medical Center
« on: November 13, 2012, 08:36:13 pm »

Hi! Is there anyone there who knows or experienced the charity offered from private hospitals? I got pregnant xe unexpectedly. I just gave birth last Feb 2011 (CS pa), and going to give birth again by next year, maybe by June or July 2013.. Tight ang budget kaya charity sana but sa private hospitals. Ayoko xe sa public since may phealth naman ako. Please help! Let me know the private hospitals in Metro Manila na may  Charity.
Thanks!

Try Chinese General Hospital Charity ward. Monday yung registration and initial check-up. Be early kasi they will only accept first 15 patients (not sure if 10-20 patients basta in between).  Otherwise, next Monday na ulit yung chance mo. Some preggy moms, as early as 5am for registration andun na. Anyway yung first check up lang naman talaga yung kelangan mo na sobrang aga but for the suceeding check-ups kahit 7am ka pumunta okay lang and for your last trimester, ikaw na priority nila.  :)

Thank you Errych  :) :) Kaya lang parang malayo ang CGH samin. I'm from Pasig pa xe eh. Anyways, may mga requirements ba un and may kelangan bang bayaran? Sana may ganun sa SLMC or TMC.

HI sis...

I gave birth sa SLMC August 2008.

There's this thing called Social Service ata. Pati yung pedia nung baby nila.

Talking about the services, parehas lang naman din.  The Staff are accommodating naman, yung food is the same din.

my mom is under social service ng st.lukes E-Rod.
this normally given sa mga walang work, hidni ganoon kalaki ang source of income.
my breast cancer ang mom ko and wala siyang work.
kahit my work ako peru im single mom, hindi enough para mapagamot ko si mother.

after complying with all the requirements and interviews na-approved kami ng social service.

im not sure sa  St.lukes in taguig if they offers the same social service. SLMC in EROD is non profit kaya my social service, unlike the one is Taguig profit oriented

ang ward room rate sa st.lukes erod is 700 ata ( as of January 2012 yan)--

private room nila runs from 3,800 to 5k(small rooms lang yan, bigger rooms cost more)

@ kiz_me1109

maxicare hmo namin sis. premium plan  up to 250k ang limit per illness sa dependent , then 380k sa akin.

ang hindi covered ng maxicare is Neuro case, kailangan kami magbabayad sa doc fee then reinbursed nila. But lahat ng test, room and medicine covered naman.

Hi mga mommies,

I urgently need to know kung paano yun charity ward sa St. Lukes in E.rod. I'm 35 weeks along, CS and with possible previa, and had been bleeding slightly since Sunday. Naka bed rest na lang ako with pampakapit.

Dapat kasi sa Pasig Gen ako mangangak, kaso may infection, so nun Sunday they made us go to RMC, dun naman puno and no available na incubator. So they said to go to QMMC, ganun din ang case nila, 5 babies na nga in an incubator eh!. Then they told me na full na din sa Fabella, PGH and East Ave, yun iba may infection na din dahil na nga sa pag share ng incubator, etc. etc. So they said to go to UST, FEU or St. Lukes and magpacharity na lang. There was this mommy in QMMC who was 31 weeks with twins and they decided to stay there kahit walang incubator, basta ipanganak na dahil in pain, so ewan na lang if makahinga yun kambal or not after. The nurses and doctors were very anxious and a little annoyed, pero yun decision ng mag asawa, pinag sign na lang sila ng waiver.

We did not know what to do and I was so tired with the palipatlipat ng hospital and ng short na kami sa cash at hand dahil sa taxi, so we went home muna. and took advise sa lumang doctor ko on what to do. Kaso today medyo bumalik.

We cannot afford to be admitted sa private dahil originally VBAC candidate ako. And we had only saved up for it at a lying in. So sa St.Lukes naging decision namin mag asawa. Kaso I don't have Phil health and I am scared to be turned away nnaman tulad ng nangyari nun Sunday...

Can anyone tell me if the hospital will accept me as an emergency patient / walk in sa emergency room dahil dinudugo na? How do I tell them na for charity ako? What about social service? Please if anyone can help me with these its greatly appreciated. 4th baby ko and unica hija ko. My 3rd baby died in 2010 a few days after being born, so I am in a mess emotionally and mentally.

Thanks
