Hi,

Just out of curiosity, do they have soft skill courses for yaya?

My 4 month experience with my current live-in yaya made me very, very surprised that they are not so comfortable with super caring and chatty employers.

When I say soft skills - I mean like basic behaviors like courtesy, respectful and professionalism as a yaya.

My yaya hasnt talked to me for the past 1 week (eversince a small argument occured because i was trying to be caring towards her), except for work related matters, which I find, very unprofessional of her (since she claims she's very experienced in the job).

I was told by many to "not ask them about how was their day, are they alright, etc"

I believe that time has changed, so must the "culture and thinking".
