here is the pic of my candy buffet, madalian so parang lagay na lang ng lagay hindi nasunod nag layout na ginawa ko naiba din kasi mga lalagyan ko..

DIY ko rin yung paper pinwheels mga sis thanks to sis KVsmommy for helping me conceptualize my candy buffet hehe

sis mami che, for 12 kinds of candies I spent almost 2K. Included na yung backdrop, containers, scoopers and tongs, table cover, paper cups for the candies, printing of pics and picture frame, printing of tags and shipping fee of the candies. I think mas mahal sis kung ang containers ko is glass bottles and jars. I used plastic pails lang kasi na I bought for P20 each.

sis ganda ng idea to use the pails especially summer ang bday ng babies natin, pail it self mukha ng decor..ok lang ba if I would like to copy that for next year haha for next year na agad..OT: di kami natuloy sa shakeys mcs kung nagkataon magkasunod party natin dun same then same p/v din hehe..

hehe thanks sis! yang idea to use pails is born out of my frustration to do a DIY candy buffet pero kulang ang budget! hahaha yung cheapest kasi na glass jars and bottles, sa Divi daw makakahanap. e hindi ako makapunta ng Divi. so I'm left with Japan Store or Daiso or Saizen. E yung glass bottles/jars nila, nasa P88 each. E di ang sakit sa bangs na 10 types ng treats ko ilalagay sa jars/bottles. P880 na agad! E eto, pails with shovel at P20 each. Sa 10 pcs, P200 lang! Ang laking difference di ba?

wow sis oo nga laking savings..napansin ko pareho ginawa nating tusukan ng lollies haha..ask ko lang pala kayo ba nagpprovide ng table para sa candy buffet?nagrequest lang kasi ako kay funhouse ng extra table for that so dahil may free choco fountain and dips kami from caterer same table na din ginamit, ok lang naman since halos same items and sweet table din naman kaso di ko alam pano ko idedecorate, like yung backdrop mo dyan sis pano mo kinabit gusto ko nga sana gawan nga backdrop yung candy buffet ko naka pag lay out (feeling layout na saken yun  ) na nga ako kaso san ko ididikit.. e yung table for that di nakaflat sa wall, ka-line sya ng buffet table.

yung paper rosettes ko sis, nakadikit ng double sided tape sa foamboard (scrap ko ito from the standee I made). then yung foamboard ngayon e idinikit ko sa wall using heavy duty double sided tape

sa wall talaga sya sis nakadikit..yung table mo ba naka flat din sa wall?o may space pa?dapat siguro set up ko talaga next time ang table na dikit sa wall para malagyan ng backdrop..

Ang cute ng mga diy candy buffet mga sis! Ako naman, I decided to not just put candies but some dessert items as well. I won't put a chocolate fountain naman this time kasi medyo messy and since Shakey's yung venue kaya nagdecide ako to make it dessert buffet instead. I already ordered cake pops, dagdag na lang ako ng iba pang items. I already have a big bag of candies from S&R. Tapos buy pa ko ibang candies. Next Saturday na party ng baby ko so I'll buy the candies and desserts na next week. Excited na ko. hehe

@mommyniyale: parehas pala tayo sis na 18 ang event. ako din, i decided not to push thru with candy buffet kahit na marami na akong inspirations na nakuha na from net. sa baba lang kasi kami ng tramway so parang magiging mas masikip kung magdagdag pa ako ng buffet. i'll still put candies and other pica-pica nalang sa table. im still excited to see the outcome! craft week na for me!
