Hi sisses,

I noticed that my daughter has small "butlig" with water, konti pa lang naman pero nagstart ito sa may batok, then meron din pailan-ilan sa kamay at paa.  Considered na kaya ito as chicken pox? and one thing, if ever na chicken pox nga, is it ok na paliguan siya? Ano po nilalagay nyo mga mommies?

may fever bah sya sis? if she complains na makati, baka nga chickenpox. better na ipatingin sa pedia sis para mabigyan ng gamot. may gamot kasi para hindi na dumami ang mga blisters, tsaka meds para sa pangangati.

Thanks sis for your reply, hindi naman siya nilalagnat and hindi rin niya sinasabi na makati, observe ko din muna baka masyado lang akong paranoid, kasi may nakasama siya na lately din lang nagkachicken pox eh, posible din siguro na mosquito bites dn lang na nakamot niya.

My daughter just had it. Full blown bulutong tubig. She had 1 varicella shot when she was a baby at explanation nung Pedia niya, pwede pa rin siya mahawa but she'll be saved from complication. I figured, yung bunso ko na nagka allergy 1 week before is actually chicken pox na at sa kanya nahawa si Ate. Yung inakala namin na kagat ng surot which spread on his entire body at nawala rin without treatment or fever, is actually chicken pox na. Bakit ganun?
Another family doctor I consulted with explained that if the child had a booster shot (2 shots) of varicella, less likely mahawa or mag manifest ang bulutong. Checking their immunization record, true enough, 1 shot lang si Ate at 2 shots si bunso.
