hello jessasarsuela :)

Edema is fluid or water retention..nagstuck sya sa tissue naten kaya namamaga yung mga extremeties naten, usually paa..it caused by prolonged position in one place, example, dalawang oas ka nakatayo..or nakaupo..per my OB advise, normal lang daw ang pamamanas kung hindi naman masyado magang maga ang mga legs at paa mo..pero kung pati mukha mo eh namamaga na, you should visit your OB super soon, baka preeclampsia na yan..

to prevent edema, iwas ka po sa salty and acidic food - softdrinks, junk foods, processed foods at yung mga pagkain na malakas sa sodium.. wag ka rin, maging stagnant sa iisang position, let's say, nakaupo ka ng 1hr..tyr mo maglakad lakad..ot dapat kung nakaupo or nakahiga ka man ng matagal, elevated ang mga paa mo.ganun ang ginagawa mo, turo yan ng OB ko..tapos hilut-hilutin mo rin yung mga paa mo, or kay mister..or kahit na sinong puedeng humilot..wag ka magkocross legs pag nakaupo ka, maiipit ang mga ugat mo sa legs na magkacause ng di pagflow ng tama ng mga fluids mo sa veins..mas lalo yang mamamanas. and the very important, drink plenty of water..

I remembe, pag nagbubuntis ako, my mom usually cooked for me mung beans..ilalaga lang yung monggo, tapos yun na kakain ko,..nilalagyan ko gatas tsaka sugar..ayun, breakfast at merienda ko..pag lunch naman, ginisang monggo..basata anything na may monggo..sabi kasi niya, pampa iwas daw yun sa manas..sinusunod ko naman at per record, di nga ako minanas hehe..

i hope this helps you! ;) ;) :) :) ;D ;D ;D

Hi, Newbie here! I was trying to look for topics na similar sa situation ko pero wala pa kasi akong makitang post?

I asked my OB, pero I was quite annoyed by her reply. Sabi niya magpunta raw ako sa clinic  para makita niya kasi baka kagat lang ng lamok ito. May kagat ba ng lamok na pantay ang pamamaga ng feet ko tapos hindi naman makati. ::)

I would appreciate your advice mga mommies!  ;)

drink lots of water mommy tapos elevate your feet at every possible opportunity especially pag gabi at matutulog ka na. lakad lakad ka din para maexercise ng konti at mag circulate yun blood. :)

Hi there, swollen feet is just normal during pregnancy. And remember that every pregnancy is different so do not be upset if you have swollen feet at 5 months. I think you really need to drink plenty of water, more walking for exercise and blood circulation. And put your feet up so that it won't be that swollen anymore. Let me also share here with you a site you can use to calculate your due date and learn more about pregnancy, good luck. http://www.babyduedatecalculator.net/

Thank you for your replies mommies! I was quite worried because my husband is blaming me kung bakit daw ako manas.
