ang baby ko di pa din nakakalakad.
10 months and 2 weeks pa lang sya. di naman kailanga madaliin.
be patient. iba iba talaga ang state ng development ng mga baby.

Iba-iba talaga no, depende sa bata.

My eldest started to walk when she was 9 months old palang.

yung baby ko eksaktong birthday niya yung first steps niya... Sobrang nakakatuwa... Then after that, ayaw na naman maglakad mag-isa. Parang tinamad sya for weeks. Namahinga ba? I just let her be. Nung 1 year and 1 month na sya, nagsimula na naman sya maglakad. Tumatalbog-talbog pa... hehe... Ayun, tuloy-tuloy na... Ngayon mabilis na sya maglakad. :D

My son started to walk without any support when he was 13 months old.  May konting pressure din during that time because I was comparing him to other kids his age, pati sa akin (because i started to walk at 10months ata). And I think kaya medyo nadelay yung walking niya kasi we didnt allow him to explore.  We were so protective of him, Semento kasi yung floor namin, and the floor mats I bought didnt cover the whole floor so we didnt want him cruising from one furniture to another.  Pati sa kalsada o sa park, we didnt let him walk and fall by himself. I know mali un.  Now I see some foreigners letting their kids be. Hinahayaan tumayo and mahulog by themselves. Of course they were nearby lang and I can see the kids were not hurt naman.

I also suggest not to worry (or be pressured) kasi kahit saang baby/toddler reference book/website, walang magsasabi na dapat before 1 naglalakad na magisa ang bata.  Kanya kanyang pace ang mga kids.  But you can guide your baby to develop walking skills earlier.  Make the play area baby friendly/child proof so your baby can explore/cruise around without getting hurt.

before my daughter turns one gabay pa lang sya, then the day after her birthday nakalakad na sya ng matatag. Maluwag kasi crib niya kaya nakakaikot sya at nakakatawid going to another side which I think helped her to walk fast and kapag matutumba sya ang bilis niya humawak sa side ng crib.

My baby just turned one but hasn't started walking independently yet. She can stand on her own but her legs aren't strong enough to take their own steps. No pressure on my part. I understand that every baby has their own individual pace in terms of growth and development.  ;)

1-2 steps when he is 10months na, then eventually a week before his birthday nakakapaglakad na siya well, mas times na napapaupo pa rin. Now na 1 year 2 months na si baby, ang tatag na maglakad, tumatakbo takbo pa. Ang kulit!!

hi mga sisses. I have a question.

My son will be turning 9 months next week. The thing is he is now starting to walk around his crib or anywhere as long as there is something to hold on to like the side of the bed, table, chair, etc. Unfortunately, my baby skipped the stage of crawling or "gapang". For several months now, we tried placing him on his tummy. Pero the most he could do is slightly crawl backwards without really lifting his chest or knees. I'm sort of worried kasi the usual phase is that they learn to crawl first, then pull themselves up then walk, right?

In the case of my baby, when he is lying down, he could not sit unassisted. So what we do is pull him to a sitting position, until he could grasp something to pull himself up to a standing position then he would start walking by holding on to things. So should I be worried?
