hi mga sis just want to know kung meron sa inyo na hindi nag breastfeed?

I gave birth last apr. 24 and bec. i'm taking hormones (post rai) for graves disease, i was not given clearance to breastfeed.

Nakakalungkot lang kase my first son was breastfed until 1 1/2 yrs old (9 years ago)

So now my aeon is on enfalac a+, 1 week na sya ngayon.
 
any moms na hindi rin nakapag breastfeed?
Pa share naman ng experiences ninyo, ok naman ba si baby kung pure formula? hindi ba sakitin?

sa baby ko, 2mos lang ko nakapagbreastfeed, mixed feeding pa yun and may time pa na hindi talaga kasi nag take din ko ng antibiotic para mag heal yung tahi sa kin, pero sabi ko sa OB ko, after 1wk, yaw ko na mag antibiotic kasi sayang yung milk ko, then pumayag naman siya kasi mukhang nalilinisan ko naman yung tahi ko. then nag stop din ko kasi hindi nagclear yung puppp ko, so i have to take steriods that time, then after that...natuyo na yung milk ko kahit nagpump pa rin ako everyday para pag natapos na yung medicine, makapag breast feed pa ko, kaso nalost na talaga.

pansin ko nga, sakitin baby pag hindi breastfeed, madalas kasi may sipon or ubo baby ko. awa nga ko, kasi ayaw din niya dumede ng formula milk (sapilitan). di ko nga lam kung totoo yung pag inom ng capsule para bumalik yung breastmilk.

pero sis, may baby naman kahit pure formula, hindi sakitin e. may kakilala din ko na pure breastmilk pero sakitin yung baby, nagkasepsis pa nga.

kakalungkot naman to hear that...hmmm...
siguro to prevent baby from getting sick..be sure that all of his stuff especially his feeding bottles, water and cleaning materials are all clean..kasi i think ang #1 na magiging sakit ng mga bottle fed babies is diarrhea..kasi nga kung mapapabayaang hindi malinis...tsaka yung paligid...mga tao sa piligid...kailangan walang sakit din...at lagi dapat malinis...kasi wala pa syang panlaban sa sakit bukod sa mga vaccine na ibibigay sa kanya...

sayang talaga..khet sana yung colostrum lang...all the best for you and baby!

I didn't breastfeed at all.. My eldest is now 11, he's grown healthy and well, and we have a good relationship too.. My twins are 2 years old now, the same with them, i didnt breastfeed also. My kids rely solely on formula.  The bond is still there, and they're not naman sickly.

HI sis from 0-6mons, similac advance, then, 6-18 mons gain, then, 18 mons till now, enfagrow.. so far, they're hiyang naman and active, healthy, happy and smart

sis yung gain ba na milk, ok talaga, nakakagain ba ng weight yun?

sabi nila pag di daw nakapag breastfed si baby, mahina daw ang tummy, madalas sumasakit. pero for me, siguro kahit pure formula ka, as long na naalagaan mo sya sa nutritious foods and vits. especially pag kumakain na sya, lalaki pa din syang healthy....

i had the same fear as mommy riazagala because i'm formula feeding, too. my son just got the colostrum then mixed feeding then pure formula feeding now. i also am so guilty every now and then, fearful na maging sakitin baby ko. but i have nephews and nieces (anak ng mga kapatid ko) na formula-fed din pero hindi naman sakitin. it's a relief to keep those things in mind. salamat sa mga assurance ng ibang mommies who also, for some reasons, had to formula-fed their babies.

hi mommy, hope ur feeling a bit better. i was also worried na di ako nag-breastfeed kasi konti lang lumabas and pilit ng pilit yung mom ko ang yaya na the baby is not nagbubusog sa BM ko.
2mos lang ako nagBF pero mixed feeding pa. i felt really guilty, plus i was stressed pa ako during that time, di tuloy masaya yung BFing experience ko.

NAN HW1 ang milk ni sasha, di pa siya nag kasakit, except nung may halak siya. lamig kasi nung early this yr. now, mas composed ako and mas enjoy yung feeding, i hold her pag feeding na namin, para bonding.

sana sa next baby mas prepared ako and mas madami alam bwt BFIng

I wasn't able to breastfeed my 1st child kasi according to my test result, I acquired CMV, a virus one gets from animals, more common from cats. I have no idea where I got it, I don't  even know I have it. Sabi ng Dr ko, hindi daw common sa Phils yon. I used to travel and don't know from which country I got it. One develops immunity too in naman but at the time I was pregnant, we were not sure if the baby will  be affected. St. Likes lang ang may mas detailed test for this and that time it will cost us 12K. Anyway, my baby was tested negative, still the Pedia advised me not to BF. My breast hurts kasi dumadam na ang laman, hindi ko naman pwedeng ipadede. So I just pump it and gave it to the puppies. Sabi ko nga, kainis ang mga tutang ito, sila ang nakinabang sa milk ko at colostrum.

Bumawi ako with my 2nd child. Todo breastfeed ako til he was 3 years and 4 months.

if nagtopical steroids like diprolene, clobetasol papayagan kaya ako magbf?

moms, hay salamat naman sa  topic na to.  ako din kasi hindi nakapag breast feed
1 1/2 lang din ata at mixed pa.  may cleft palate kasi si baby, hindi sya pwede nakahiga na nag bf, pero now na 4 months na sya pwede na, nanghinayang nga din ako e.  hay i just pray na healthy si baby gang paglaki

sabi nila pag d BF si baby payat, pero si baby ko tumaba naman sya.  NAN HW ang milk niya
