Hi Sis.Always bring a copy of your kids birth certificate and marriage contract as well with you when traveling. You can renew your passport even if hindi pa expired... but if course, extra charge lang yun sayo. This will also lessen your worries when traveling or presenting IDs.Usually, the immigration is strict when it comes to the children -- avoiding na tinatakas yun bata especially hindi kasama yun biological father. If you have all the necessary NSO documents, I don't think you'll have a problem because the officers will just need proof that these are your kids. Though, you may consult with a lawyer because as far as I know, the kids are illegitimate even if they carry your husband's surname & has paternal consent during birth because they were born prior to marriage. (I may be wrong... best to consult a lawyer). If you have the resources, its best to have your kids' birth certificates changed/corrected, have all your IDs including passport changed to your "married" name and authenticate all legal documents -- by doing this, your kids won't have a hard time in the future when they need it. Oh... make sure the names and spelling are correct.Good luck! Be Blessed!
