hi mommies  :) our 1st day in school is a blessing kasi hindi umiyak ang big boy ko (3&11mos that week at K1). Sa stairs palang pinapaalis na kami ng papa niya, kaya niya na raw. It was a big help kasi un classroom nila ngayon ay the same room kung saan siya ngsummer class.

Pero I also have a concern like sis KVsmommy, sa house pag practice writing kami maayos at nakakasunod siya magwrite sa blue-red-blue lining sa paper. and he knows how to write the aplhabet big&small. MOst of the time, iniiwan ko siya gumawa then babalikan ko na lang siya if he's already finish, to check and he's doing good.  Nagtataka naman ako ngayon everytime nakikita ko un seatworks niya sa school, mirror image un pagwrite niya ng ibang letters and lagpas or sobrang liit ng mga letters. Kaya un writing pad niya puro red mark ng teacher. Bothered ako kc alam kong kaya at alam naman  niya. Im not pushing him naman kasi nga naiiwan ko naman siya pagpractice kami sa bahay. Kakausapin ko nga teacher niya mamaya just to ask for her opinion. Any advice from any of you will be a big help as well. TIA  :)

i have problem with my toodler. She's 3.5yrs old now currently enrolled for pre-nursery level. At first week she's okay. Knowing her pwede maiwanan sa school. She enrolled summer class din kasi. But this week only, pinalitan yung teacher nila. And this teacher has a big voice. I mean, likas na malakas ang boses niya. June 18 d ko nahatid yung anak ko kasi i need to go to work early. Then, only to find out na nagtantrum sya that day. The following day, ayaw na niya pumasok pero pinilit ko. When we get to her school ayaw na talaga niya pumasok. Scared daw sya kay teacher. So i stayed in their classroom for more than an hour kasi ayaw niya bumitaw sa akin. But during my stay, i can say that the teacher is shouting to her students. I mean, well maybe she do it para makinig ang mga bata pero that's not happened. Thing is, my daughter is being scared by that approached. They are two students who according to other parent, her son is scared din daw sa teacher. This morning, i stayed for almost an hour din inside their classroom because she doesn't want me to leave. This is the first time it happened. During her summer class, she was absolutely okay and wonderful the whole time. But this, first week she's okay with the old teacher. And then, was replaced now and she's not okay anymore.
Do you think mommies, this is something i should elevate na to their school director? Or should i give one more week for my daughter's adjustment period? Or any tips on how to surpass this?
Thanks mommies.

smart.momi & sweetTess, please act on it asap.  Yung daughter ng friend ko had the same dilemma, 1st week ok then suddenly went out of interest in schooling.  Yun pla hindi niya gusto yung assistant teacher and kahit ano explanation ng parents na ok na c teacher ayaw na bumalik ng bata.  :-(   ayaw naman force schooling ng parents bk mas lalo matrauma.  mommy sweetTess,  same experience -- mabilis din mahawa ang anak ko.  kaya we really take time to explain ang do's and don'ts...thank God kc cooperative naman anak ko.  hope this helps...:-)

Hindi kaya nakaka-offend sa teacher if i will go directly at director?

Thanks mommies

I think mas OK kung sa directress nalang po ninyo sasabihin and in a nice way. Mention na you understand naman that the teacher just need to stress on a lot of things kaya lang iba ang effect sa sensitive na bata. The Directress should know better how to approach the teacher on this matter than us parents kasi magkakilala na sila. There are however, matters that I would directly tell the teacher like:
-clarification on assignments, projects, activities, etc.
-discuss how my child is at school

Pero on matters that may offend the teacher, rather course it through the directress.

Hi mommies! Can u give me advice po. My daughter is 4yo turning 5 on october. She is now pre-kinder in a private learning center. My problem is ayaw po niya magpainwan sa school.
