Ligation after CS
« on: February 23, 2014, 10:41:17 pm »

Hi mga sis!

I'm planning on having my tubes tied this April since CS naman ako, sabay ko na.  If anyone has undergone the same procedure, share your experience naman.

This will be my 3rd baby through CS.

Ang kwento sakin mas masakit daw recovery.. Is this true? I have heard horror stories kasi...
Did you have to stay in the hospital longer?
Did you pay more sa hospital?

Hope you can share :)

Hi Katy_mae,

Been there, done that... same tayo , after my 3rd CS.  But my tubes are "cut" and not "tied".

Sa akin, it was discussed w/ my OB na before ako manganak, but then again since sa "catholic" hospital ako manganganak, she said, hindi raw papayang ang hospital.... but at the last minute, during mismo ng CS procedure, she advised hubby na itutuloy na raw niya, kasi manipis na daw masyado matres ko, and magkaka-complications na raw ako if mabuntis uli ako... so there, justifiable naman daw ang reason.

Recovery is the same with CS lang.  Ang nadadagdagan lang na concern is paminsan kumikirot yung 2 tagiliran ko, parang may cramping.  But it only lasted a few months, now bihira ko na maramdaman ito.  Mag 5 years old na si bunso sa March.

Tubal Ligation may additional doctors fee plus lab biopsy (tama ba yun) para dun sa tinangal or cut na fallopian tubes mo. Yun lang.  :)
