Hello Mommies!

It's my first time here and really learned a lot reading posts. :)

Just want to ask if you enjoy grocery shopping and how often do you go to the grocery.

I used to like it but it became a weekly duty, especially now that I have to buy milk and diaper my 10mo. old baby.

Am I the only one who feel different about this? :P

well, its a hassle if its far sa house niyo, not in my case, pero i do go sa grocery atleast 3 times a month lang, pero yung isa lang dun yung major grocery as in mga 2 push carts kasi good for 1 mont supply na, inuuna ko kasi yung monthly needs ng daughter ko para naka safety na yun like diapers, milk, mga foods niya...then laundry items, delata etc...usually kc yung mga para sa ulam etc sa market na lang yun kasi dapat fresh lagi yn, every other day, yung kasambahay namin gumagawa nun..pag naggrocery ako, enjoy ko and hindi ko dinadala anak ko, parang stress reliever ko yun..hehe.

this is the part na ayaw ko talaga. i just cant budget our money well. since nakatira kami sa family ko, kasama din yung needs nila sa mga iisipin ko.

I tried having shopping list before going to stores, pero hindi ko pa din nasusunod. lagi naman ako busog kapag namimili. ewan ko, bigla na lang may nadadagdag sa mga ipapamili ko.

and also kapag kasama ko yung parents ko, at pag humiling sila, hindi ko kayang tumanggi kasi feeling ko, super hirap sila alagaan yung baby ko, so kung mabibigay ko yung gusto nila, baka maibsan naman un.

is there something wrong in me? yung husband ko nga sometimes complain na tumanggi naman daw ako sa mga gusto ng family ko, kaso hindi ko magawa. haist.....  :-\

I guess kung mga delata or yun non perishables easy to buy them monthly. But better if food are fresh and it depends gaano kalayo ang palengke or Supermarket/ grocery sa house nyo.

@gheng.. mommy I feel for you when you said mahirap tanggihan ang parents lalo na sila nag aaalaga sa kids mo. Tangihan minsan pero not completely and tell them budget guys kailangan masunod. It takes a lot of courage to do so, pero maiintindihan naman nila in the long run.. besides there are other needs we have to think of aside from the family's groceries. Paano kapag emergency, may nagkasakit or naaksidente which we always say wag naman sana. We have to be ready for that as well kasi we won't be able to forsee such events.

Maybe once in a while treat them to something else.. monetary sila na bumili ng needs nila outside of the grocery.

@vmjane, i tried tanggihan sila, but still nangingibabaw talga yung hiya ko sa kanila.  kasi when i see them na parang di tlaga spat yung binibigay ng brother ko sa knila (na madalas wala na talaga maibigay), inaako na lang naman ng husband ko yung pangangailangan nila sa bahay.. haist ang hirap talaga kung ikaw lang inaasahan ng pamilya mo, tpos may pamilya ka rin...  :(
