Bath Products to Try
« on: September 05, 2014, 03:14:06 pm »

Good Afternoon Mommies!

What are the bath products that should be part of your baby's bath time? Why do you like them? How are they effective?

Are you more of a Shampoo/Soap type or Baby Wash type?

i grew up using JnJ products kaya ganun na rin sa mga kids ko. from the shampoo, soap, powder, wipes. haha!

for my newborn, i avoid putting powder cause they say it might cause asthma.

baby wipes is a must for us, be it for baby or me.  :)

Hi marie_c!
How about while giving your newborn a bath? which did you use, soap and shampoo or baby wash/baby bath?

I'd have to agree with baby wipes!  ;D

@marie_c alam mo yan din concern ko before, takot ako na ang powder might cause asthma when used on babies. pero i asked my pedia about this and sabi niya, it does not cause asthma.

ang tip lang niya, basta pag lalagyan si baby ng powder, wag sa harap or sa face ni baby yung pagsalin mo ng powder to your hands. tapos sabi niya, yung tamang pag lagay ng powder is:
1. sa hands muna ni mommy
2. then rub in your hands before applying sa body ni baby

best parts ni baby to place powder is sa neck, butt, front of the elbow kasi diba eto yung mga areas na mas pawisin si baby? hehe at syempre sa back rin para may bonus massage si baby! :)

hope this helps!

The "calming" baby bath didn't work for my cranky baby. My MIL joked I should make her drink it instead. It did work for me though. I think it's more for calming a mommy with a cranky baby at bath time ;)

I use Pigeon 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash. Based on experience daw, ganda daw ng skin ng babies nila until now.  So trinay ko.

My yaya even told me na nabanggit daw ng kapitbahay. Pero for us, wala naman kasi saming ganun ang skin.  Wala syang pagmamanahan ng type ng pagiging soft ng skin niya.  Yung panganay ko 2 years old na.

Sabi kasi ng pedia, if you want your kids to have beautiful skin in the future, start them early.

Meron sis mommypeachy.  :)  Kaso mahirap "mahuli" kasi lagi na a-out of stock.  Sa Landmark ako bumibili pero minsan nauubusan.  Mas preferred ko kasi yung liquid kasi shampoo at soap na sya.  :)

I used JnJ PRODUCTS esp. the milk and rice liquid soap.. even in my 6 yo daughter  i still make sure na JnJ ang gamit niya. from liquid soap to powder. same with my 1 yo son, he really enjoyed it'. if i used other brands their skin gets dry and itchy.' they cant sleep well. thats why we stick to JnJ brand.

Has anyone here tried yung Human Heart Nature? It's supposed to be all organic daw. Thinking about JnJ and other products ang pumapasok sa isip ko "Chemicals". Haha or maybe I'm just paranoid.
