What advice would you give your new mom self?
« on: May 25, 2016, 01:23:41 pm »

Hi SP moms! This year, we at Calpol partnered with SP.com.ph to talk about the highs and lows of parenting and dealing with your kidís health. We even made a video about real moms on their experiences as a first time parent. Check out the video below!

So, if you could talk to your new mom self, what advice would give her? Post your stories below! Weíre excited to hear about your stories and we hope new moms out there are learning from this thread, too.

As a first-time mom, Iím definitely super paranoid about my kid getting sick. Iíve asked so many moms about what I should do when my son got on and off fever for over three days. Low temp lang naman but I got really scared so I took him to the doctor.  It turns out, heís teething na pala and fevers are normal for teething babies. He told me to give him paracetamol when he gets fever. Iím still a new mom and Iím definitely learning a lot but if  I could talk to Carla during those times, I wouldíve told her not to panic kaagad.

Take it from Gal Gadot: "I realized that it's okay to have a different life. It's okay not to have a routine and not to be like everyone else. And, it's okay as long as the family's together and you're happy and you do it together, it's great."

And this mom shares: "Hindi ko akalain na magiging Wonder Woman ako.".
