Hi mommies!    :)

Can I just share? My son had his fourth hair cut last saturday and like the last two times that we went, grabe talaga iyak niya.  :( semi-kalbo kasi cut niya so siguro, nakikiliti sya na parang di niya maintindihan (or could it be because of the buzzing sound of the shaver?) ...

funny lang kasi mas takot pa sya sa hair cut kesa injection ... he's only cried once for immunization.  :)

You didn't mention what salon.
I took my daughter to Cuts4Tots Glorietta when she was 3 for a hot oil. I chose that salon because it's for kids and they got stuffs that she will enjoy. Turns out, parang traumatizing for her, not because the service she got but of the screaming kids around her. Buti hindi nahawa anak ko na maiyak din.
There was this girl who was really screaming her lungs out calling her Mommy, Daddy, even her Tito and Titas and all the relatives she can think of. Believe me, if she knows the names of the Saints, she would've called them all too. The agony took only a few minutes. The hair stylist worked fast unaffected by the cries and stress. Wow ha, ang ganda ng hair ng bata. Her Mom said they came all the way from Bulacan because it was only this salon that can handle her.
Kids Salon at SM Mla is also nice but I haven't seen their stylists work under pressure. We just didn't chance any kids in hysterics.

His first haircut was at Kids Hair Salon in Rustan's Makati and the last three were at Cuts 4 Tots in Glorietta.  :) The girl who "shaved" his head last Saturday was fast too ... and everyone there was trying their best to entertain my son pero he was really bothered by the shaver. He didn't play with the toys being given to him, nor was he amused by the bubbles.  :P

Kulit nga eh, kasi after his hair cut and after he changed clothes, he was the one entertaining the salon crew ... nakipagtawanan sa lahat.   ;D

hi  :)
I want my son to have his hair cut also in the salon that all of you have mentioned. Kaya lang, will it be possible if they use scissors instead of a razor for my Kit-kit? Baka kasi tumigas hair niya pag razor e. Ganda pa naman hair ng anak ko, soft and straight. :D Also, can they cut hair as young as 1.8 y/o? Thanks.

Yup, they use scissors pag trim lang ... my son's first haircut kasi was just a trim, hindi sya "kinalbo" so scissors lang ang ginamit. And yes, they can cut your 1.8y/o kid's hair ... son ko was only 1 when he had his first haircut.  :)

according sa mga matatanda, pag ka i year old pa raw pwede magupitan yung baby. i don't know their reasons, pero sympre sunod nalng sa knila. tpos sabi pa nila, dapat daw , the first person who will cut ur baby's hair should be intelligent/smart, para maging ganun din daw yung baby nyo. tpos itago daw yung few strands na ginupit mo.
