Haler mommies!
My kid is also using Sansflou. When I bought it in Watsons ganito hitsura non:ang box niya nakavacuum -packed and sa loob na yong toothpaste tube.Ok naman daw ang toothpaste na yon sabi ng dentist namin kahit binili ko lang sya ng walang instructions from the pedia or hehe. Its orange flavor.
Before I let my son do brushing of his teeth, nalearn niya muna how to do it with the colgate commercial na si Dr. Rabbit(yong chikichikchik chikichik all day na song). So as he watched it he knows na kapagtoothbrush its used for brushing the teeth.I also let him watch videos on how to brush teeth properly-kahit di ko sure naintindihan niya dahil 1 pa lang sya- I let him watched it several times. So kahit flavored toothpaste niya after water nilalabas niya talaga from his mouth lahat ng liquid. But ok lang naman to swallow Sansflou eh no flouride naman yon.It lessen the toxicity from your child.

hi mommies.  sa toothpaste, i used sansflou for my yancy from the time nagka ngipin siya, konting konti lang.  i started her with this toothpaste kasi walng sugar component at hindi nakaka discolor ng ngipin.  pag kasi colored toothpaste tapos aga mo ginamit sa baby me possibility madiscolor ngipin nila.  ito din sabi ng dentist namin.  we noticed kasi dun sa 2 cousins niya (5 and 4 yrs old) noong bata pa sila and they used hapee na colored red, nagdi discolor teeth nila. so i told my sis to shift to sansflou.  now na bigger na sila, we give them hapee na cookies and cream flavor using toothbrush na pang age nila. tapos, mumug talaga dapat, walang lunukan hehe

me, i use sansfluo toothpaste for my daughter, kahit wala pa ciang ngipin, i massage her gums with the toothpaste on clean cloth kasi dentists recommend this in preparation for milk teeth...kasi sansfluo dont have fluoride and has xylitol instead, ok cia kahit malulon ni baby! kasi may certain effects ang excessive amounts of fluoride...i checked fluocaril and meron cia! dunno, sabi naman pedia mo so baka ok naman...

good am mommies...i think depende din sa dentist yung toothpaste n gagamitin o irerecommend nila.  some dentists di alam yung sansflou, meron naman yun agad irecommend.  pero true ka mommy, me harmful effect and flouride sa mga bata, and meron ng sansflou for tweens yung age 6 to 12 ata yun, sa watsons ko siya nakita. meron din adult toothpaste minsan na kasama ang sansflou, okey kung xylitol kasi ako heavy coffee drinker, so me coffee stain before teeth ko, pero after using xylitol, nag lighten na siya even if the same consumption ko ng kape, ay bakit ba napunta sa kape e toothpaste ito, hehe.

My son is 17 months old and he uses Pigeon toothpaste. I bought him Oral B toothbrush Stage 1.  Since he doesn't know how to spit out after brushing, I don't put toothpaste everyday... every other day lang. Kasi he swallows it. Kahit sabi ok lang to shallow.  I brush his teeth twice a day. Tapos wipe ko tongue niya once a day with cloth and water.

I have vowed to use ONLY natural products on Yona, so I am currently using SANSFLUO on her teeth. It doesn't contain Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) :)

mommies, I was at SM makati last night to buy toothpaste for Justin ... bibili dapat ako ng sansfluo, but when I read the ingredients written on the box, merong saccharin!!! I was going to take a picture of the box nga sana kaso malabo yung cam ng celphone ko. Pero promise, meron talagang nakasulat na saccharin sa box. Now I'm not sure kung merong nakasulat na saccharin sa tube pero kung wala, medyo weird yun ha ...

anyway, I ended up buying chicco ...

sis bong, meron nga nakalagay na saccharin.. di naman daw bad un from what i read... :)

excerpt from http://www.medicinenet.com/artificial_sweeteners/page5.htm

Out of the five FDA approved nonnutritive sweeteners, saccharin is often chosen to be the safest one. The FDA's guidelines on the use of saccharin for beverages are not to exceed 12 mg/fluid ounce, and in processed food, the amount is not to exceed 30 mg per serving. The Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) for saccharin is 5 mg/kg of body weight. To determine your ADI, divide your weight in pounds by 2.2 and then multiply it by 5.
