hi mommy!pareho tau ng concern, yung anak ko 2 and 4 months na and still distilled water (wilkins) pa rin ang pinapainom ko sa kanya. My parents even my in-laws recommends me na pwede naman na daw siyang purified water. Kaso, nag aalangan pa rin ako. Siguro, try na lang muna natin kung ok si baby sa purified. ano ba yung plan mo, yung nabibili sa water station or yung mga nabibili at kinakabit lang sa bahay?

Yung pamangkin ko na nasa davao 1 year and half pa lang hindi na siya distilled. boiled water na kasi naman malinis ang water system ng davao city (has been considered as one of the safest and cleanest water system in the country).

hi sis, absulute water naman gamit ko sa kiddo ko. Since nagpapadeliver naman kami almost everyday ng purified water, might as well sana na yun na rin gamitin ko... imagine 25 pesos lang yung as compared to almost 55pesos per 6L.

same tyo, nag-aalangan din ako... kasi how safe ba talaga yung mga purified water for kids, babies diba? kasi tyo matanda ok lang...

hi mga mommies yes drinking distilled water can be bad for baby's health like nga doon sa dating mga post yung about sa mga thing na ginagamit ni baby na brands such as baby bottle, diaper, milk, water etc i already posted this link before but for your info i want to post it again here. http://www.mercola.com/article/water/distilled_water.htm. dito maliliwanagan talaga kyo what the distilled water does to our baby's health. I also use Wilkins, Dr. Edwards and Absolute. But since my mom told me din na it is not good to drink distilled i made a research myself so yang site na yan elaborate niya talaga kng ano yung cause and effect and very well explained sya i know this will be a great help sa mga moms natin dito to decided kng ano nga dapat ang ipa inom kay baby.
Since i have read that site i shifted my son to Summit kc nga it contains natural minerals and i compared it with wilkins mas maganda nga yung may minerals na din yung drinking water ni baby unlike yung sa distilled what it does is inaalis pa niya yung minerals sa katawan ni baby.  sobrang linis nga ang distilled it has no bacteria, fungus or any parasites kc during the process na ginagawa yung distillation eh patay na sila pero it could also be a cause of death din nang mga distilled water drinkers. Meron din yung Dr. Edwards na may mineral content na yung blue ang container niya I also use it kaso they only deliver in metro manila area lang kng bulk order. just try to read the labels nang mga water before you buy and kng san kayo satisfied mas ok but as much as possible avoid using distilled na din.

Hi...I used wilkins to my eldest till 1 y/o after that i use na the water we drink at home... i think its purified ... my sister in-law bought a dispenser na may pang purified (ata) kc what we do is just fill the top with tap water then nasasala na siya... or pag nasa parents ko kami un pinapadeliver nila na water (aqua 2000) pag nasalabas either summit or absolute basta wag lang tap water.

I might do the same sa youngest ko pag 1 y/o na siya stop na sa wilkins... kc yun nga daw ang distilled water pag long use hindi maganda sa body.

hi there! newbie :)..just want to share mine..i have a 3 1/2 yrs old son and a 5mos old son too, i gave them alkaline water...but we are the one who's  processing it...i mean, we bought a unit, 3 in 1 sya, purifier, mineralizer and alkaline maker na din....we dont need to buy na mga purified water sa refilling stations, kasi we are using na tap water to the unit so ang result nun is alkaline water na...very cost saving sya..ska healthy yung water, alkaline e...saka all of the members ng family ang pwdeng uminom...

actually, distilled water like absolute and wilkins are acidic water..they dont have minerals na..most doctors prescribed wilkins because they learned na most babies kaya may diarrhea is because hindi lahat ng minerals sa waters e natutunaw  ng digestive system ng babies..so they recommend wilkins na walang minerals pero malinis talaga..but when u test ang acidity/alkalinity ng wilkins and absolute, acidic talaga sila both!
