same question po with sis luk_resha. after zoobic safari, saan po pwede mamasyal..yung malapit lang sa area..bago kami bumalik south.kasi sayang din ang byahe kung uuwi kami agad. :)

mommies, since hindi masarap and pricey pa ang food sa OA, pwede bang mag baon and kain na lang sa van? hehe. sayang naman kasi kung di rin enjoy ang food. or since OA lang naman kami punta, pwede na siguro sa labas na resto na kami mag lunch. Also, anong accommodation ang mairerecomend nyo with nice garden/ambiance & pool kasi after ng OA ayoko na mag ikot ikot. TY

may nakapagtry na ba sa mga resort sa baloy beach in barrio barretto?  ok ba for families?  kase i heard most girly bars are in barrio barretto, so baka.... you know....

sa loob kase Sbma, walang beach na pwede magswim except camayan na base sa comments dito eh not so good for swimming.  yung all hands and dungaree beach naman is public beach.  may naka try na ba sa all hands?  4500 kasi yung rate nila ng room na good for 4, may breakfast na.  mura diba?  kaya lang baka di ok ang crowd.

so option ko is either all hands or yung mga sa baloy beach.  ok daw ang johan's sa barrio barretto?  may feed back kayo on this (or other beach resort sa barrio barretto?)

or baka mag- puerto galera na lang kami.  ang worry ko lang sa PG is yung travel by ferry.  may 3 year old kasi kami na malikot and infant na 3months old.  nakakatakot ibyahe ng ferry.  di pa naman ako marunong lumangoy!

My husband and I finally gave in to my 3 year old son na matagal nang nagpipilit pumunta sa beach.  I was choosing between Puerto Galera and Subic.  We ended up going to Subic kasi sabi ng husband ko mas malapit with SCTex.

We went to All Hands Beach inside Subic Bay Freeport Zone.  We stayed overnight.  The family room for 4pax has 1 queen-sized bed and a double deck, inclusive of breakfast for 4.    Rate is 4500.  Meron din silang cottages na good for 6 pax naman. Rate nun is 6500 with breakfast.  Extra person with mattress and breakfast is 625.

Okay yung beach for swimming kasi di mabato and di maalon.  At knee-deep, may fish kang makakasama magswim.  My son had a lot of fun hand-feeding the fish with bread bits.  Kahit gabi maliwanag pa din yung beach, may lifeguard so safe for night swimming and beachcombing.  Yung crowd, mostly families and couples.  May foreigners pero families din sila.

Yung room is okay lang.  Parang ka-level ng mga hostel ang interior.  Bed lang, aircon at CR.  May hot water naman yun nga lang medyo nawawala yung init from time to time.  Malamig yung aircon sa room. No TV, no ref.

May restaurant dun though you can bring food and drinks.  May cooking and grilling shack sila pero bring your own kaldero and uling.  May sari-sari store in case may mga necessities kang nakalimutan.  Reasonable naman ang food and drinks nila.  35 ang soft drinks in can sa bar, sa restaurant 50.  Yung food sa restaurant, ok lang.  Masarap yung pakbet, yung ibang order namin, so-so lang.  If I were you, I suggest lumabas na lang kayo to buy food.  Medyo malayo nga lang from Puregold/McDo.

Will I come back?  Kung gusto lang namin ng malapit na beach and beach lang naman ang habol (not the amenities), YES.  Siguro next time, daytour na lang kami dun.  6am-6pm is 350 per head.  free use of kubo na.  Tapos magdadala na lang kami ng cooler with lots of drinks and bring our own food.

Reservation is through Subicom (tel #4044784).  You need to pay the full amount to reserve.

We also inquired with other beaches in Baloy Beach (outside Subic Freeport Zone).  Mas mura and mukhang mas magaganda yung resort itself but our friends na madalas sa area dissuaded us kasi red light district daw yun and since we had kids with us, di daw ok.

But in case anyone is interested, eto yung na-research ko:

All the resorts are under subicom.  So reservations are all handled by them.

Sheaven’s – www.sheavens.com
Standard –P2150 queen bed
Family – P3500 2 queen beds
Extra bed – 500
 With pool, wifi

Ocean View -  www.oceanviewresortsubic.com
Deluxe Plus – 4000 , 1 queen bed and 1 single bed
Bar Suite for 3 pax – P4500 -  queen beds
Extra person 200 plus another 200 for bed
With pool, parking, playground

Hope this helps those who are planning an out of town trip this summer!
