whew, field trip is over what i have now is a body ache and a lot of souvenirs from the places we went to yesterday.

here are some tips i would like to share. i based these from my experiences yesterday, hope it'll help:

1. belt bag/ pouch- for mommies/ daddies or guardians.

i had to go up and down kasi i always forgot my purse in the bus, e bebe ko lahat ng souvenir shop may nakikita siyang bibilhin. a sling/small body bag that your wallet/cel/cam/ tissue or wipes (for the mommies for those trips to the comfort rooms), can fit is enough.

2. money- bring your money in small denominations. tagal maghintay ng sukli sayang sa time.

3. wear- i really love my crocs, i can always depend on it during long walks, really comfy. but bring tissue and alcohol for wiping dirt on your feet. Wear comfy shoes, if you’re going to wear flipflops think twice, since flops are flat and will not give you much of feet support therefore you’ll easily tire on walking.

yesterday was raining, mommy cristy's tip on bringing jackets was great. we couldn't have enjoyed the trip kung wala kaming dalang jackets (i suggest you bring those with hoods, you know kids can leave you and your umbrella, at least may extra protection na hood) and umbrella.

4. food- hotdog was the universal ulam yesterday. I suggest don’t bring maraming klaseng ulam since you’re concern is makakain lang ng lunch mga kids, they’re much excited to mind eating lunch.

Yep, I brought the cooler with me, sabi ko care ko basta cool ang drinks namin. turned out I was not the only one thinking about this ang daming may dalang coolers. We didn’t have to buy cold drinks since we’re enjoying whart we have inside the bus.

On biscuits/ cookies. My hubby bought a lot of extra baon for us. i can’t bring them all along looking like a traveling mini store. What I did was stash one or two of each kind in a plastic to have variety of my kid’s baon.

5. extra nalang to ha. I haven’t slept at all yesterday. At 3am I was already preparing, usual time of sleep naming ng 5mo old ko kasi 4am. i wasn’t able to bring the small unan I have but I manage to bring a mask, para kahit nakatulog ako hindi dyahe kasi nakatakip mouth ko, if there were drool the mask must had absorbed them, hehe.

Important is that you enjoy the trip with your kid. I minimized my ‘wag yans’, let my child explore the things around him during the trip. He held a turtle, took pic with the aetas, talked to one and asked for the bamboo cup as a souvenir.

Enjoy your trip mommies!

i remember that time when my parents had to let me join field trip without their presence for the first time. they were literally following my bus! haha and i didn't know until they fetched me. they said they were with me all along.

well, can't wait for AK to join field trips narin. ;)

Who will buy goodies that I like on the way? You dont love me na ba mommy that's why you're not joining me?"
