thank you Daddyjojo for your reply.. medyo natakot po ako d po pala ako safe.. pero i hope na d naman po ako.. upon observation po sa sarili ko.. i think po nagstart ko ma feel yung white sticky mucus nung march 13 po. then nung march 15 po i think ovulation ko.. kc po every ovulation ko lately nagkaka brown dicharge ako na medyo madame at minsan may stinge of blood. pero konti lang po yung blood. tsaka po sumasakit puson ko. after that po wala na. so kung nagovulate po ang babae may posiblidad po ba na buntis siya? thank you po..  :)

Hi,

Mar. 13 is Day 10 and Mar. 15, Day 12.

Sure ka na mucus yung na-observe mo ha...walang do noong Mar. 12...so hindi yon galing sa husband mo.

May mga levels ang mucus.  Kapag sticky pa, lowest ang fertility.

Kapag may mucus, at nag-ovulate, ibig sabihin non hindi buntis.  In about 14 days after ovulation, ex. Mar. 29, you can expect menstruation.

BTW, very good ang ginawa mong pago-observe ha.  Minsan may mga iba pang fertility or ovulation signs in some women.

Many would agree that Calendar Method is passe. Please refer to this link to know more about paano malaman kung safe/not fertile or unsafe?

I'm contemplating on switching to Natural Method for the main reason na gusto kong mag detox ;)
Helpful naman yung Barangay HEalth Center namin, even referred me to the family planning clinic so I can get more info about NFP. I was given leaflets and brochures on Natural Methods.
What I want to share is, the Calendar Method is not among the choices given.

hi, sissies!

i haven't took time to backread.  in fact, i've posted here before which i didn't have time to review.  i wasn't even able to visit the forum for so long. anyway, i just took this time to share with you regarding this method of contraception.

hubby and i have been practicing calendar method for more than 10 years.  last time, we were strict with 7 days after mens and 7 days before mens.  this time, having uploaded an app on my phone (My Days), we have clearly confirmed my cycle days.  so we made an allowance that 10 days after mens and 10 days before mens are still safe for us.  unfortunately, it was a mistake!

hubby and i made contact on the 10th day after my mens, boom!!! alas, i'm pregnant again after 6 years.

the reason is that there could be some changes on my ovulation period due to stress and change in schedules this june, or hubby's sperm were that aggressive since he stopped drinking alcoholic drinks for 2 weeks.

hope this would be an enlightenment to some of you...

@chillerz0029
I have read your message on this thread on the day  you posted but I just haven't been able to reply.  Naging busy ako for the past two weeks.

@mariann
Thank you for sharing.  I have been trying to convince a number of people here that the apps are not reliable.  One needs to know their Cycle Lenghts.  Those who have 26 to 32 Day Cycle Lengths can use Standard Days Method (SDM)...a calendar-based method.  In SDM safe days are from Day 1 to Day 7, Day 20 to Day 26...32. The Fertile Days for a 26-32 day cycle are from Day 8 to 19.  This was why your 7 days before and 7 days after mens worked for you.  It was a simplified way of understanding Standard Days Method.

When you changed to "10 days before mens", that's Day 17 for a 26 Day Cycle...Day 19 for a 28 Day Cycle...which are Fertile Days and very close to one's Ovulation or Peak Day.  You are within 2 Days where you may have released an egg.  There is also a high possibility that you will have a girl on this pregnancy.  Take Care and God bless you and your family.

Pero this time nababahala na ako eh.

Hi. Using calendar method for me is safe. Pero pag withdrawal im not sure. Base on your mentrual cycle regular ka 28days cycle ka. If your 1st day of mens is feb 15 safe ka from that day up to 21. If na do kayo ng bf nyo feb 24? Sabi mo withdrawal kaya im not sure if pregnant ka.
