  • Time flies, and we were reminded when we saw Olivia, the daughter of Andi Manzano, during the Pampers and Gymboree Mommy Meet Up last August 16 (the mother and daughter are the new ambassadors for New Pampers Baby-Dry Pants). We can't believe little girl is now 1 year and 4 months. Andi says that spending time with Olivia is one of her biggest stress relievers. “Usually wherever I go, she goes with me.”

Here they are on stage photographed by dad and Andi's husband, restaurateur GP Reyes.

Andi also shared that her husband is her other secret to looking radiant and stress-free. "[I'm a] happy wife," she said. "Even when I'm so tired, he knows how to make me happy.”

The radio personality also shared with us a couple of must-haves, which she has relied on during Olivia's first year.

    1. Breastfeeding cover
“Olivia is exclusively breastfed, so it’s really important that I have my cover,” says Andi, who nurses anywhere they may be and plans on breastfeeding for as long as she can. “My mom also breastfed for a long time so I think it’s also in my genes.” She drinks a lot of fluids and manages her stress levels, which can definitely interfere with milk flow

Andi plans to stop breastfeeding when Olivia decides to wean on her own or until she gets pregnant again, which led us to ask if she and GP were planning on making Olivia an ate. “I don’t know but if it happens, it happens,” she says.

    2. Reliable diapers
For Andi, a diaper is crucial during play and sleep time. She dislikes interrupting Olivia when she plays so a diaper that can stay dry for long hours was essential. And when it's time for a diaper change, she particularly likes how New Pampers Baby-Dry Pants makes the task fast and easy.

    3. White noise
“I guess what also really helped [Olivia sleep better] was white noise. Whether it's on Youtube or Spotify, for me that really helped,” says Andi. For those not familiar, white noise, like the wind, soft rain or even a whirring electric fan, is ambient music that masks all the other sounds in the room and somehow offers soothing comfort.  “Even until now, sometimes when I'm nursing I just put white noise in the background.

This story was updated. Andi and Olivia are endorsing New Pampers Dry Pants, not Pampers Pull-Up Pants as stated in an earlier version.
