But perhaps the ultimate reward is having a baby born in April who are said to always see the glass half-full, less likely to get sick, and more!

If babies born in the first two months of April, Aries babes, are destined to lead, those born in later in the month under the Taurus sign are definitely go-getters. Your little one may also get used to lavish luxuries after triumphing on a task, so go easy on them when it comes to rewards.

April babies are less likely to develop asthma

At least that's what the same study above said. The possible explanation why April kids have a lower risk for asthma is they are more exposed to dust mites, which are common allergens, during the summer. Previous studies had proven that a baby's early exposure to a particular allergen reduces the likelihood of the child developing it and helps the little one develop a stronger immune system.

Apart from respiratory diseases like asthma, kids born in April are said to be less likely to be affected by cardiovascular, neurological, and reproductive diseases than children born throughout the rest of the year.

Summer babies learn sunscreen safety early

A 2017 study showed that children born between March and June are more prone to develop melanoma, a severe type of cancer that originates in the melanocytes or skin cells that contain pigment or color. Having morena or brown skin makes Filipinos less prone — but not immune (there's a difference) — to skin cancer caused by ultraviolet (UV) exposure from the sun. But it's not an excuse to get lazy putting on sunscreen and teaching your kids about sun safety. Skin cancer can also be caused by factors other than UV, such as genetics and environmental influences.

April babies are fun and nature lovers!

Summer babies may have spent more time during their early years at the beach or going on nature trips so you could help them develop a warm spot for Mother Nature early on as well.

It's good for babies to have a routine, sure, but try not to force your April baby to be asleep by 7 p.m. He or she might be comfier getting to bed late at night growing up.
